First of all, let me just say I’m a Filipino who came from the Philippines so the things I’m talking about are all facts. Second of all, I’m usually not the type to put a person on blast but the situation I was in a couple of moments ago was simply terrible. Yesterday, I went to Jolibee for my dad’s Fathers day. He was very excited to get one since he’s very selfless but yesterday was a special day. And so we excitedly went to Jollibee right after Seafood city shopping. We bought two buckets of Chicken Joy alongsides two jolly hotdog. We didn’t want to spoil the Chicken Joy thus, we let it sit there until we got home. The Hotdogs were fine but the Chicken Joy did not have taste at all, the gravy is the only redeeming factor. My dad was so dissapointed, he even claimed that«Oh, I couldn’t sleep waiting for the chicken» and when we got home, we found out that the chicken did not have any taste at all. It was too late to go back so we decided not to. This morning, I was starving and so I tasted another chicken and the disappointment looming over my stomach and the betrayal was simply too great. I went there every 3 days during my last semester. I decided to call them and inquire as to why the chicken did not have taste at all, as a clarification, yesterday, it seemed to be kids running around the place yesterday. I was waiting for a cashier for a good two minutes and I was hearing giggling at the corner, I’m a worker after all, but I know when to take a job seriously. The workers in here are simply no good. Anyways, I called them half an hour ago. It took a good ten minutes for them to answer it. I inquired as to why my chicken didn’t have any taste on it. They replied how it was supposed to be marinated. As the conversation went on, the manager’s tone of voice kept getting more nervous and agitated. First of all, I don’t like complaining but this situation broke my dad’s day on a Father’s day and I dislike that. He finally asked me to go there right now with a piece of chicken to confirm with a tone of voice that says«I dare you». His initials are JS. I’m very tempted to call the corporate right now. As a worker in another place, I know where customer stands and how I should act but this place did not treat me as such, especially since I’m a loyal customer. I will never come to this place again nor will I encourage friends to visit. I’ve never had such a horrible experience before, thanks Jollibee, at least you gave me a first hand experience of what an American, oh hold up. It’s Filipino place so shouldn’t it be extra careful? Well there you have it. Avoid this place, just go to Chowking if possible.

Was driving back home i know i was going to pass by this place and i been craving some pine apple juice and a halo halo. I made the mistake of trying halo halo for the first time ever in the Philippines last month and then i tried the stuff here :(big disappointment! The pineapple juice too… man what was i thinking??? The pineapple juice was watered down and the second i took a drink my throat felt itchy the stuff back in the Philippines was 100000000 times better. The service here sucked! Lol i waited at least 8 minutes total to get my two cups of cold crap 3 minutes for my cups and 5 minutes for my change. The thing that sucked the most was that a halo halo over there was a million times better and only 100 peso lol here i paid 5 bucks! Big rip off! Pineapple juice over there 80 pesos man i got ripped off! Idk if i wanna go back and try the food next time.

The chicken(dark meat) was crispy, very tender and juicy. Although my wife wanted white meat, would’ve been a 30 min. wait because it’s made to order. The gravy is a good dipping sauce. Didn’t try the hot dogs or burgers.

I order two piece of chicken with rice a few minutes ago. And I ask for spicy chicken and a hot sauce. And then again they gave me regular chicken with no hot sauce. I can’t be able to count how many times they gave me the wrong order. I never really complain to them but this happen to me very often .I hope they’ll start considering the customer satisfaction.

Wife loves their chicken so we went. They didn’t have any halo-halo available even though it’s on their menu? What’s up with that? The bucket of chicken automatically comes with gravy. Which is nice vs KFC

If you’re looking for vegetables, don’t come here. But if you’re looking for a hot meal of Filipino fast food, this is the place. It is my first time eating a Jollibee’s, in the USA(ate once in Philippines). They make it when you order it. The hamburger steak was nicely done well. The small round patties were tasty, but the brown gravy is probably their trademark, cause it goes good with everything. The chicken fingers was juicy, cooked well, all white meat, and went well with the gravy. The fries were nice and golden and went well with the gravy. The server’s behind the counter were friendly and the place overall was clean. I’m not a fan of going to(fastfood) joints like this, but this wasn’t my choice, so I tried to be as open minded as possible.

Service here is ok, however I dislike the attitude of some of front counter staff. The facial expression and tone of voice they gave for asking why they did not have the spicy seasoning was very defensive. On one occasion however, their was a nice front counter person which did provide me with a discount for substituting water instead of a soft drink for the meal. My friend recommended that I eat at a Jollibee for their awesome fried chicken with the spicy seasoning. The fried chicken does taste great and comes out to your seat piping hot(Temperature). Nice crispiness and juicy! Drawback is that on multiple occasions they do not have the spicy seasoning. Interior of the restaurant does look very clean. Love the bathroom, looks kinds modern and was also clean. Overall I would not drive out from Natomas to try their fried chicken. The service is inconsistent and sometimes offensive. I’d rather visit a Popeyes thats closer and receive better customer service.

This place needs to stop being stingy and properly stock its spices for its fried chicken. This is ridiculous; no spicy on TWOCONSECUTIVE occasions when I visited this place. AND these visits were weeks apart. So disappointing.

I love their chicken sotanghon soup. I’d backhand my mother if she tried to reach across the table to get a taste of it!

Stopped into Seafood City this evening for a few things, and for once didn’t impulsively go to Red Ribbon afterward. The old indoor Jollibee spot is plastered over till whatever replaces it opens next. On my way out though, hunger hit and I decided to try the Jollibee drive thru since it was getting dark and… yeah…because South Sac. Only one car ahead of me in line, I ordered the N3, pancit palabok fiesta with a soda(the other noodle dishes include spaghetti and some come with a piece of fried chicken joy). I sure am a sucker for pancit palabok, it’s my go-to order at Red Ribbon. The girl who took my order was very pleasant, I think she and a male employee were singing that duet by John Legend and Meghan Trainor, «Like I’m Gonna Lose You,» in the back to pass the time, haha. Plus they’re Filipino so of course they were good singers. Evening shift do what ya gotta do. Verdict? I did like Jollibee’s palabok. Didn’t skimp on the shrimp sauce and meat, although only two slices of hardboiled egg, and a teensy bit black peppery, even after mixing with the noodles. It only came with the soda, and is a slightly cheaper meal than Red Ribbon… BUT at Red Ribbon their palabok and soda comes with an empanada AND a slice of cake. That will win me over every time.

I’ve been here 26 times and that says a lot. First of all I love the food be it the spaghetti, palabok, or chicken joy. Food is warm when served— always satisfies my taste buds. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a lot cars in the drive thru, so that’s a plus. Warm greetings from the staff though at times, they forget something from my order. But that’s minor.

Comfort food — - yes. Love their chicken— crispy and tasty! Prices are very reasonable. There’s ample space. The dining area is clean. We will be back!

Price is affordable & food is good. The restaurant is very clean and interior set up is cute-filled with colorful furniture. The bathroom has cool patterns and is clean-yay! Only downside is that there was no HOT sauce! They said that they ran out. BOO! :( However, the chicken was pretty good so thankfully it was able to hold up without the hot sauce. I also ordered the Mango Peach Pie but was disappointed that it was more like a Mc Donald pie rather than an actual slice of pie. They used real peach which I did like BUT they mixed it w/artificial syrup which I didn’t like, so I probably wouldn’t order the pie again. :( Overall, I would not mind coming back because the food is decent and the price is very affordable.

I’m giving 5 stars for the peach mango pie But their customer service is so bad. After ordering our food to go we sat down close by the counter to wait. When I overheard a lady worker with a headset talking crap with the lady worker who took our order(in tagalog) about a customer whose voice is so irritating while ordering at first I didn’t care but she literally repeat what I order to the lady that help us and I was so shocked(i can understand and speak tagalog too) that I was just staring at them. When the s cashier lady signal the headset lady that I was just sitting right there, the headset lady immediately left the counter before I can get her name.

Let me first say I LOVE jolibee, never had a bad experience there until this evening. We pull up at 9:56 not knowing they close at 10. There were a bunch of people in the building and a man at the register. As we walk towards the door a lady literally bolts to the front door and locks it in our faces. No friendly sorry we are closed, just a smug look and turns the key as if it was funny to her. We notice a ton of chicken in the racks and a room full of people eating. Not sure why they didn’t allow anymore customers. They technically close at 10. I guess our money is no good there. But they gladly let the gentleman who had just arrived before us in. Really bummed because there was no reason for her to be such a jerk. A simple sorry we are closed sir would have sufficed. Now I believe all the people who say the staff are awful. I guess I’ll be going to popeyes from now on. The food is great, but the service will be the death of that business. My 1 star goes to the rude lady who slammed the door in my face and smiled. Shame on you. Karma sucks.

I don’t understand about all the hype with Jollibee, but the food isn’t so unique to me. Take the Halo-halo, for example, there isn’t much in it. And who in the world serves Halo-halo without the SAGO? And where’s my young coconut? To me the main ingredient of a halo-halo is the sago. So, no, this place is not for me.

Isa pa! Isa pa! Isa pang Chicken Joy!(One more! One more! One more Chicken Joy!) That famous commercial for Jollibee has been implanted in my brain since childhood. That little girl chanting for more Chicken Joy pops up in my head every time I step inside this Filipino fast food staple. It’s crisp, and so tender and moist inside. Their sizes may not be as huge as KFC’s, but it’s certainly as addictive, minus all the grease. Some days I just don’t care and say eff it I succumb to the calling of all the fried chicken from Jollibee; it is as hypnotizing to me as Shark Tank(can’t get enough of that show). Also try the burger steak! And pretty much all their breakfast items. Corned beef with eggs and rice. errmergerd ~ pag-ka lami-ah!
