Need your Classic Car or Hot Rod transmission worked on? We can do that. Why? Because we’re really old so we have a vast back ground when it comes to luddite transmissions, you know transmissions that aren’t run by computers. So if you need you Classic or Rod worked on get down here before we forget aaaah… how.

History

Established in 1975.

House Of Automatic Transmssions and its alter ego The Transmssion Nerds have been serving the Sacramento area since the birth of polyester leisure suits and the disco. Some of our customers, believe it or not, are third generation H. A. T. groupies. Included in our long list of groupies is The City Of Sacramento, utlities, police, fire, ambulance, Pacific Gas & Electric PG&E, The State of California to mention a few. We have acted in a technical advisory to the Bueareu of Autmotive Repair California State and we are the ONLY transmission shop in Sacramento to be AAA Approved and offer discounts to AAA members. All of our technicians are ATRA & ASE certified, and regularly attend class to keep up with the new technology. We like to say If you don’t know how it works, how can you fix it? You would be surprised how many shops don’t know how things work but still try to fix them. Unlike some professionals who call their business a practice, we don’t practice, we get it right.
