Dr. Gary Vedenoff is committed to providing the highest quality dental care using the latest techniques and technology. Practicing dentistry since 1985, Dr. Vedenoff uses a wide variety of treatments for restorative, cosmetic, and preventive dentistry. He and his staff are here to help you acquire and maintain a beautiful, strong, healthy smile.

Dr. Vedenoff’s passion for dentistry began while working on his undergraduate degree in chemistry at California State University Long Beach. After volunteering for the Long Beach Dental Society’s emergency care clinic at a local hospital, Dr. Vedenoff knew his calling was dentistry. In 1985, he earned his D.D.S. from Northwestern University in Chicago and relocated to the Sacramento area. Dr. Vedenoff’s goal is to provide the best and most technologically advanced care for his patients and he achieves this through continuing education and practice management courses. He is also a member of a local dental practitioners group that meets regularly to review complex dental cases in order to share best practices on systematically solving and treating these issues.

Connecting personally with a patient and delivering beyond expectations is Dr. Vedenoff’s main objective in treating his patients. They appreciate the personal attention, warmth and genuine concern he shows each individual.

I seriously am a huge fan of Dr. Vedenoff! I had to leave him due to my new insurance and I can’t even begin what terrible experiences I’ve had with other dentists! (see my other review!) as of Jan of this year I got my old insurance back and both my husband and I are back — reunited — with our favorite dentist. That’s saying a lot because my husband HATES dental visits. Dr. V’s awesome and his staff’s friendly and helpful. Love love love him!

I have been a patient of Dr. Vedenoff’s for over 15 years. He and his staff are like a family there. I actually look forward to going (weird I know, who wants to go to the dentist), but I like to see the staff and catch up with all that has been happening with them. Dr. Vedenoff is very thorough, and presents all of the options if anything out of the ordinary crops up. I have never felt that he pressured me to have any unnecessary procedures. The office atmosphere is pretty, cheery and bright, which fits perfectly with Dr. V and his staff. I highly recommend he and his staff for your dental needs. I know you will be happy making that choice.

If you are looking for a dentist the whole family can go to, I wouldn’t hesitate in referring Dr. Vedenoff. His staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and his office is clean and well managed. I’ve been going to Dr. Vedenoff since I was a teen, moved away in the late 90’s and had to switch dentists. I’m so glad to be back in Carmichael and a patient of Dr. Vedenoff’s again! He’s just a great dentist all around — profession with a great sense of humor, makes you feel comfortable (yes, that’s possible at the dentist!), has many years of experience and does great work. Between my experiences with Dr. Vedenoff over the years and his many years practicing dentistry, I feel 100% confident in referring him to friends & family. In fact, I just took my nine year old to him today for a filling — very positive experience, as I knew it would be. There’s a reason my sister, nephews and my father are all patients of Dr. Vedenoff’s as well.

Dr. Vedenoff is very warm and compassionate to your needs. He always listens to your concerns and makes you feel comfortable. Dr. Vedenoff has a calming presence about him. And he is very humorous! Rita, at front desk, is always smiling and knows everyone by name! Becky, who cleans my teeth, is very gentle and has a light hand. Becky also will listen to concerns, give advice or referrals without it feeling like she is judging you, and genuinely cares!

I started as a patient of Dr. Vedenoff when I first moved to the area in 1983 as a college student. Over the years he’s seen me through a broken front tooth, two crowns and, happily, not too many cavities. My husband and son are also patients. I have always felt that he has our best interest at heart and doesn’t push us towards unnecessary or expensive treatments. He’d a good guy that Dr. V. I recommend him highly.
