History

Established in 2007.

Upon moving to California in 2004, the owner was appalled to see the «quantity over quality» mentality that seemed to prevail here. He wanted to bring affordable excellence back to the customer base here and worked toward getting his licence and opened Double Diamond Security in March of 2007.

After graduating from Edutek Professional Colleges in San Diego in 1993 with an electronics technician diploma, first installed security alarm systems in schools for Standard Electronics. Moved to Michigan in 1995 and took over the alarm division of a small alarm and locksmith business, more than doubling the number of satisfied customers. The company reputation increased dramatically. Soon builders would merely drop off a set of blueprints for the design of an alarm system, rather than put it out for bid. Returned to California for wife’s health reasons and was either the lead technician or installation manager for a couple of ADT dealers until deciding that people deserved the kind of service that he was used to providing, at a better price and with better equipment than they were typically getting with other companies. Took the Qualifying Manager test mandated by the Department of Consumer Affairs and upon passing, started this company in order to provide «affordable excellence».
