Airflow Heating & Air

Wanted to thank team at Airflow heating and air for coming out on a really short notice to service my HVAC system when I I was purchasing my first home. They serviced my system and made sure everything is in good working condition. They also installed new grilles and a wifi thermostat for us. I am very satisfied with Airflow. I recommend team airflow to everyone, their customer service is great with very reasonable prices.

I’ve used Airflow Heating & Air on several different HVAC unit types. (old and new, big and small projects)
Oleg was very quick and honest. He will now over charge and no hidden fees.
They’re services has always been excellent as they’ve been able to work on units that OTHER VENDORS were not able to fix. II definitely recommend Airflow Heating & Air for your HVAC services.

While installing an HVAC system in one of my properties this year, Oleg, the owner of Airflow Heating and Air, created a large fire a few feet away from the back of the house. It was a fire caused by an oil spill on the back patio that was followed by soldering with an open flame.
Thankfully, my tenants had a fire extinguisher which they used to put out the fire. Otherwise the fire might easily have spread to the back of the house.
This was an incredibly serious incident. After it had happened, Oleg did NOT inform me of this incident. A few days later, my tenants explained to me what had happened. I was shocked, and angry.
I asked my tenants for a detailed description of what they had observed. Afterwards, I wrote Oleg a letter, requesting a full explanation of how this incident could have happened on his watch.

Please explain the circumstances of the oil spill. Why did you think it would be safe to use an open flame a few feet away from an oil spill that had not been cleaned up? Why bleed the line in the first place? Couldn’t the old line be
replaced with a new, clean line? When bleeding the oil, why wasn’t it bled into a container, instead of the back patio? Why wasn’t the oil cleaned up, prior to soldering?
If a car mechanic ever came to my house and changed the oil in my car, he would never drain the oil straight out onto the ground. He would drain it into an oil pan. Why did you drain the oil straight onto the back patio? I’m still trying to wrap my head around this …

This was Oleg’s entire response to an incident that had ignited an oil fire a few feet away from the back of my house. There was no analysis as to what he had done to cause this; no clear ideas about how he would ensure that such an incident would NEVER happen again, either in my house or anyone else’s house.
You might want to work with a different HVAC company.

Oleg and his assistant Danny are great! I highly recommend Airflow Heating & Air. Oleg is a highly honorable, hard working, honest, and good guy who delivers what he promises. I’ve used his services twice now, at our last home 4 years ago and our current one now.
BACKGROUND: (Current home) — 3-​ton AC unit serving a two story home office. The AC unit itself was fine but the air flow through the vents was not distributed well at all and was all going to ¹⁄₃ of the square footage while the upstairs is ²⁄₃ of the space and was getting barely a puff of air through the vents. We’d crank the AC all day and still no cooling. Oleg identified the problem and redid the ducts in the attic, adding some ductwork and modifying other parts of the ducts. In less than 3 hours Oleg and Danny completely revitalized our system and now it goes like it has 3 times the power it use to have! We will save money on the PG&E bill since we don’t have to run it nonstop and we’ll be more comfortable at the same time since we can really cool the area now!
(Previous home) — had a game room over a 4 car garage. That room would cook in the Summer heat. Oleg added 2 vents in the perfect spots and modified the duct work to make a major change and the room could then be cooled easily as compared to before when it couldn’t be cooled at all.
OVERALL: Here on time, courteous, professional, quick, very fair, didn’t damage anything, cleaned up after themselves, and OUTSTANDING results! I highly recommend!

Purchased an A/​C unit to be installed into our home a couple years back. Great service and quick to respond. Would definitly use again.
