The Challenge Camp is celebrating its 34^th year of offering summer enrichment learning opportunities for bright and curious children. We are dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities for children to realize their intellectual and personal potential. Challenge Camp is an ACA accredited camp located in Rye, New York on 18 picturesque acres. We offer over 100 courses ranging from architecture to chess to cooking to magic to model rocketry to video production and many options in between. There are also sports options as part of the Afternoon Challenge as we encourage students to challenge both their mind and body. Please visit our website to learn more about our innovative program.

Meet the Business Owner

Carole B.

Business Owner

Director and Founder of the Gifted and Talented Development Center. Carole has been actively involved in Gifted Education for over 30 years, having served as a teacher of the gifted and talented students in the High and Wide and BOCES programs. She was a reading teacher in Yonkers for 23 years. She serves as President of the Gifted and Talented Foundation, Board member of New York State Camp Directors Association (NYSCDA) and member of the American Camping Association (ACA). In tribute to Carole and in recognition of thirty years of Challenge Camp she was the 2010 honoree at the annual dinner of NYSCDA.
