I have had a history of back and neck problems for a long time and I thought it was just something that I had to deal with. After hearing and reading about Egoscue, I made an appointment with Mike Kenny(he was doing a travel clinic in Philadelphia at the time). He immediately noted some problems with my posture and spent 90 minutes developing a routine to help me out. At the time, I had back pain that was severe and kept me up for a good portion of the night. After a week of the exercises, the pain was GONE! My biggest mistake was stopping the exercises once the pain was gone. This is something that you have to keep up with. I now use skype consultations with Mike since I am not in the area. He said that my posture is now better than it has been since I started seeing him. The exercises take me about 30 minutes to do. I have just made it part of my routine and do it almost everyday. It is slightly inconvenient, but when you have dealt with chronic pain you know it is well worth it. If you have any sort of chronic pain etc contact them ASAP. I have recommended friends to them who have also had great results.
