Had the worst case of curb rash and Gilbert somehow did magic and now my rims looks brand new. I couldn’t be happier!!! Thanks so much for an awesome, professional job.

Gilbert of New Image Wheels I have to say does excellent work. His prices are very reasonable, probably cheaper than anywhere else. His work is exemplary. I had curb rash on one of my new wheels. He came to me and had it fixed within 15 minutes. It looked brand-​new. The only way you could tell where the curb rash was is by the scrape on the tire. Called this place last week about repairing a rim. Talked to him and said to email him with a picture of damage. Price to fix it was cheaper than the dealership. Emailed him last week about setting up a time, but no response as of today. Everyone else in Austin has to send the wheel off. I’d rather just have someone mobile fix it on the spot, but if I don’t get a response in another day, will just take my car to the dealership to have it fixed.

I noticed my wife’s car had a scrape on her wheel from a curb. Apparently this is called curb rash. I was worried and started to do some research online. It appeared it could be corrected. I was worried about costs thinking it would be in the hundreds. I called the dealership where I purchased my car and they gave me Gilbert’s info. At that point I had already done my own research and knew Gilbert’s name from Unilocal.He came over the same day and did the job for less than expected. It took less than an hour and the wheel was looking great. I can’t tell where the scratch even was. I was blown away. I also want to note I did get a competitor pricing and it was almost double what he charged. I would highly recommend Gilbert. I will try to post before and after pics.

I found Gilbert through Unilocal and I am glad I did. I had him repair a wheel after a curb jump out at me. I thought I would have to bring it in some place which is challenging when you don’t have a car. Instead Gilbert came to my house and repaired the wheel flawlessly in my driveway. I was challenged trying to recognize any area of repair. It was done perfectly. I was so happy that I am having him re color all 4 wheels for me next week.

I am so happy I found Gilbert’s name when I was searching for a mobile wheel refinishing service. All of the reviews were positive which matched the quality of the service that he provides. The alloy wheels on my Audi A4 look like new and the cost was a fraction of what I would have paid for new wheels and nearly half the cost of comparable other wheel refinishing services. On top of that, Gilbert came to my house the next day and took less than 90 minutes to refinish all four wheels. I couldn’t be happier.

Gilbert did me right again today. He even noticed another wheel with some damage that he offered to fix as well. Shop around, I promise you won’t find a better deal for wheel repair. Gilbert is mobile, professional, does great work at a great price. I would (and do) pay more than what he asks just because he does such a good job. A+++++++

I had some curb rash on one of my aftermarket wheels that were a matte gunmetal finish. Because of the finish a lot of shops told me they didn’t know if they could match the matte gunmetal paint. I got Gilbert’s # with new image wheels and he had a mobile truck and air tools. He sanded down the curb rash and he matched the paint perfectly and the curb mark was unnoticeable. I bought a slightly used Avalon but all four wheels were heavily scratched and in terrible condition. Gilbert, the owner of New Image Wheels came out to my home and made them look like new! Cost was a reasonable $ 180 for all four wheels. Not only that, he also repaired and painted a fairly sizable paint chip on the back of the car. The car looks like new thanks to Gilbert. I’d use him again and recommend his services to anyone. He’s a personable guy too.

Scraped the alloy wheel on my wife’s Volvo while in Galveston and she wasn’t a happy camper. Called Volvo dealership and surprisingly they gave me Gilbert’s contact info. I called him Friday and made appointment for Saturday morning. He showed up on time and within 30 — 40 minutes the wheel looked like it was when we bought the car! His work is excellent and he’s mobile, will come to you! Gilbert comes with list of references of dealerships he has done work for. My wife and I are very impressed with his work. Highly recommend him if you are in need of alloy or chrome wheel repair or cosmetic refinishing!
