I can’t say enough about how much my wife and I appreciate the effort that Justin put into our wedding. He gave us detailed options with timelines that made sense. The best part was he let us tell him what we wanted and filled in around our choices with other music that fit our style. Justin was punctual, professional, and at a fair price. Actually, he was worth more.
His sound system was on point. He put a microphone on my jacket and it had just the right tone.
Our wedding started at noon. He was there hours early and one of the last to leave.
I have nothing negative to say. It was a positive experience!

Justin has DJ’ed our school dances for the last 4 years. He has always been open and responsive to requests — which the students really love! His song selections keep the room moving, ensuring that everyone has a great time. Music is always appropriate for the age group. We look forward to working with him for many years to come!

Justin is very organized and supplied a wedding packet that really helps you organize your own wedding. He’s open to all ideas and very flexible with whatever details you want. Justin was absolutely amazing during the entire planning process and the day of! We had a very specific idea of what kind of music we wanted for our wedding and he asked all the right questions to make sure he captured that. He is the only DJ we ended up meeting with because he wow-​ed us so much at our first meeting! He was extremely accommodating to our needs and very communicative leading up to the big day, making sure he had the right versions of the songs for our processional and first dance. The day of I was completely at ease because of the itinerary we had created together and I knew I didn’t have to worry about anything that Justin was in charge of. During the reception Justin was involved just the right amount and managed to keep our dance floor full the entire night, which is exactly what we wanted! A month later, I am still getting friends and family gushing about what a great job he did.

My husband and i got married in May 2015 and was looking for a good DJ to help coordinate our wedding and reception. After our first meeting with Justin my husband and I got in the car and said «that’s the one.» A day later we called him and told him that we wanted to go with him… it was by far the best decision we made. Justin provided a full lay out of the entire wedding day. he had everything written out on a well prepared spreadsheet with all of our details and song choices. He showed up to our rehearsal dinner and took charge. We didnt have a wedding coordinator and Justin was able to help us make sure that the ceremony went smoothly. Justin was our DJ for our wedding in June 2014. From the minute we met Justin he was very professional and we could tell that he was very talented! He was in constant contact with us through emaiil, phone, and even text messages. He answered any question we had and was extremely helpful. We met a couple times before the event and he had all the paperwork and material ready to collect the information for our big day. He made it personable to our event, made great suggestions, and was open to any changes that we made throughout the whole process.
Justin met the whole family and wedding party on the night of the rehearsal. He took lead and we felt very comfortable with him helping and running through the order of details for the whole wedding.
On the day of our wedding, Justin showed up early to set up and get everything ready! He was great in the fact that he knew exactly what he was doing and exactly where to set everything up without asking us any further questions (last thing anyone wants on their wedding day is to be bugged with questions or anything else). He made relationships with the venue staff and all of our vendors to ensure a perfect day! He set up sound/​music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception! We had wireless microphones for the ceremony that worked perfectly the entire time. The timing of the different music and songs for the procession, bride, and recession was perfect!
The reception music was PERFECT! Justin was great and a true professional DJ! He played exactly what we wanted and chose perfect songs to complement. Justin made sure EVERYONE was dancing and having a great time! He was great on the fly with request from the guest! At our wedding we had a surprise performance by one of our guest that sang the entire «Humpty Dance» song! Justin made the call to allow it and it was a great decision!!! Possibly the highlight of the night!!!
All of our guest could not stop raving about how great the wedding was because of our DJ Justin! He did a great job! I would recommend Justin to everyone!

.Justin with Sounds to Go — Sacramento Wedding DJ — is fantastic. I found Justin through my daughter’s school, he volunteers every year for my daughter’s elementary father/​daughter dance and thought we would give him a look. I was impressed with his website and reviews I found and once my hubby and I met him, we knew he was the guy. He was hands on, gave us a great print out of song choices and didn’t blink when I warned him that I am a brat when it comes to music selection. We signed, we paid and he still was 100% customer service friendly. He truly made us feel like we were his only couple, he was prompt in answering emails and on time to every meeting and of course the big day. The flow of the music during the reception was spot on, no «train wrecks» as my hubby calls delay of music change. He played what we wanted and of course didn’t play what we didn’t want. I was even more impressed when during our dinner blessing, our venue lady (that’s another experience) was talking to someone and Justin politely asked her to shush. Justin knew we were having a tough experience with her; he didn’t play sides, kept professional but saw to it that my groom and I enjoyed our evening without any fuss. Justin wrote our timeline for the day and he stayed true to it without feeling rushed. Actually, by the end of the evening, Justin was the event coordinator as well; he made the ceremony and reception run smoothly and perfectly. When the night was over, everything we wanted to have happen did and the party ended on an enormous high. If you want a DJ as awesome as ours, Justin is your guy.

We hired Justin from Sounds To Go to be the DJ for our wedding, and what an amazing job he did! We went to another wedding where Justin was the DJ, and we thought he did a wonderful job, but what we didn’t know is how much more work he does than just show up and play music. I first spoke to him on the phone and he was very pleasant to talk with. I had spoken to many DJs and a lot of them I just didn’t connect with, but Justin communicated well and was easy to talk to.
We decided to meet at a Starbucks and he was able to drive down and meet us half way between where we live and Roseville. When we got to Starbucks we were pleased to find that he was early because no one wants a late DJ showing up for their wedding, so for us it was a great start. Justin went over the services he provided and we where both impressed because his services were more extensive than we thought and he was very thorough. We felt very comfortable and confident with his presentation and decided to book Justin (Sounds To Go) for our garden wedding.
The day of the wedding Justin arrived early to make sure he had his sound systems setup and ready for our special day. We had our ceremony on a hillside overlooking a canyon and had the reception on a large back lawn in a garden setting, so Justin had to setup two sound systems. The music he played during hors d’oeuvres was great and the reception went off without a hitch. We used a lapel mic for the officiant and the sound was great. Justin kept the evening moving along smoothly and did an amazing job with coordinating with cater etc. to make sure he made all the announcements and kept the event moving along at the right pace. Because of the large area he also setup additional speakers to make sure all our guest could hear the music and announcements. When it came to the dancing Justin played great selection of music and got the whole crowd involved so everyone had fun dancing throughout the night. We had many guests comment about how great the DJ was so of course, we HIGHLY recommend Justin and Sounds To Go!

Justin is professional, punctual and delivers as promised. He did an excellent job with our event, tailoring the music to the crowd and the progression of the evening. He was courteous and well-​spoken, did a great job with the announcements as well as the music selection and volume. I hired Justin for my wedding (October 10, 2010) and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! He came recommended and we had good rapport over email so it started off really well.
We met to go over music and information about us/​the wedding part/​family/​etc and he was really patient while we were trying to do finalize our music selection. We also basically gave him full reign over the music (just gave him a mood or genre we wanted or liked) and let him do the rest! It was wonderful! Great songs the whole night through!
I cannot count how many people came up to us saying 1. how good our DJ was and 2. how good the selection of music was! I wish I could have taken credit but credit is all due to Justin.
Not only did he do a fantastic job as our DJ/​MC but he was there to help us out of a tight spot with the ceremony part!
So, I don’t know if you have been to any wedding shows but there are a lot of really… odd DJ’s out there. You know the kind, like that guy on the Wedding Singer (the competing band lead singer). Justing is not like this at all! Very professional and not cheesy! It reflected very well on our event.

Hi! Justin was recommended to us by our wedding planner. We’re both full time students and were on a very strict budget for our wedding. Justin was amazing in accommodating us and guiding us through the process of selecting music. I didn’t even know I could have different music for different parts of my wedding! We worked with Sounds To Go at an event last week. Justin (the DJ) was set up well in advance of the start time and instead of just sitting around, he volunteered to help out the host of the party with last minute decorating and food prep. Awesome touch!
Regarding the music, the DJ played current as well as several past hits. The dance floor was packed throughout the entire event and the lighting looked great! Not much more you could ask for. Also, he quickly set up a screen and played a slide show for the host. As soon as the show was over, he disassembled everything and had the dance floor ready to go.
Overall, I would highly recommend this DJ for an event! Good job!!!
