My friend and I came in to trade in her game. And they refused to take it because it was still wrapped. So when she tried to unwrap it, they said they won’t take it cause they saw it…
What kind of bs rule is that? Idk I would rather have a newly wrapped game so I know it’s in good condition. Just admit you were too lazy to do the exchange.

When the manager left, the worker there was on his phone and told me to wait, literally kept talking for the next 5 minutes, just disrespectful and rude, I just ended up leaving instead of trying to preorder a game

Place smells nice and the crew is pretty knowledgable. Come in a get street pass! No such thing as midnight launches anymore… Just a response to the guy’s review down here. Most games release at 9pm now. 12am digital launches on the east coast so to catch up they release it at 9pm. Anyway cool THE place to buy games!

People that work here are pretty helpful, and this GameStop has a very wide selection of new and used games. But when you advertise a midnight release launch for a game… please actually have it. Preordered Mortal Kombat X a few days prior from launch date and was told by employees they would be having a midnight release. I come down for the midnight release and see many others waiting outside, the sign on the door says open but doors are locked. By 1230 door still was still locked and no signs of employees inside. The security shutters weren’t down and all the lights were on inside. I’m guessing they last minute canceled, which sucks when you have the employees telling you that they will be open at midnight for pickup, or somebody just fell sleep in the back because the security shutters weren’t down and there was an open sign… w. e it was it left me bummed out. Stood up late and wasted my gas for nothing.

Went here to buy about 600 $ worth of merchandise. The sales girl had to call to verify my credit cards rather than swiping them through the computer. Both mine and my boyfriends were not accepted theough their verification call system. I called my credit card company and they said the card was fine and they didnt get a verificatuon request. Never once did she even try to swipe the card. The credit card companies (two different ones) confirmed that they never receieved a verification request.
We left without giving game stop our business and the sales girl didnt know enough about the process to allow us to discover what the issue was. Decline two cards from two different people and two different companies… something is wrong with your system. Guess they don’t want business!
