At Britt’s, we not only have professional groomers, but loving staff who can treat your pets with care. We provide a doggy daycare every day of the week and unlike other kennels, we have somebody on the grounds 24 hours a day/​7 days a week. When your pet is at DTW, we will take them in overnight for a comfort stay. We also service the Detroit Metro Airport for international pet relocation. Our facility has been in Romulus since 1952. Since 1998, we have established one of the most used pet kennels in Detroit.

I have worked with animals my whole life, mainly dogs and horses. I showed West Highland White Terriers for about 12 years and have been grooming professionally since 1991. For two of those years, I participated in competitive grooming and always placed in the top 3. In 1998, I purchased this commercial grooming facility. Ever since childhood, I’ve had a true compassion for animals and I care for them as if they are my own. I have a daughter named Brittney, who took after this love, which I derived the name of our business from.
