Typical airport hotel. Usually only stay when forced to do an overnight when travel issues arrive. Pro’s: + close to airport, so travel time to is relatively short + free shuttle to airport– operated by the Red Qwick Park running 24⁄7 +Free WiFI with decent connection +Standard free breakfast, but limited gluten free items + Within walking distance to a few places to eat, including other hotels restaurants Con’s: — it can get noisy. Walls are somewhat thin and depending on flight traffic you might hear some noise — location– it’s an airport hotel, don’t expect to find access to a large number of sit down restaurants Overall not a bad option for an overnight when needing to catch a flight at DTW. Thankfully, also usually easy to get a last minute relatively decent rate.

Horrible customer service. We misplaced are parking pass they gave us before leaving for vacation and neither the hotel or quikpark could help us. They wanted us to pay another 100 dollars, like they don’t have a computer system.

Great idea for spending the night for an early flight and parking. They have a deal with Quick Park which is right accross the street of the hotel. The rooms are nicely decorted. Clean, nice and crisp. The staff are wonderful too. Their breakfast can be better. They had a very little selection of food. I’m not expecting a huge buffet but at least more than just bagels and toast. Pool can be warmer for such a nice place. Other than that, it is probably one of the nicest hotel close to the airport.

This place is seconds from the Detroit airport with a free shuttle! Also free parking if you’re driving. There’s a plaza with food just steps from the hotel. There’s an indoor pool and spa which is relaxing after a long flight. There’s also a gym. Everything seemed very new. The concierge was very sweet and helpful. The room had a HUGE standing shower which was great. My favorite part was the beds, they’re some of the comfiest in a hotel I’ve had. It’s like a memory foam mattress. Would totally stay here again.

Great airport location, stayed one night. It reminds me of Homewood Suites layout which is great. In a 2 queen room(although offered an upgrade due to Gold status, but needed the queen beds for 3 adults). Room was comfortable, loved the workstation counter in the lounge with electrical outlets and TV viewing. Yes, some of us were up during the early morning hours, so they brought out warm coffee and bagels. Very friendly and responsive desk person. If I come back, i will definitely stay here again.

What a great Fairfield Inn! I wish there was more consistency in the chain but it is what it is I guess — read the Unilocal reviews before you book! The hotel is spotless, staff great and it just feels warm and inviting. No noise from the airport nearby either. I was given an upgrade(gold status) to a really nice suite. Everything was fresh and new. Loved it — I will be back soon! You beat the the nearby Ann Arbor and Canton Fairfields hands down!!! :)

I’ve stayed here a couple nights when I have very early flights out of town when I go home to visit(can’t imagine why people don’t enjoy bringing people to the airport at like 3 or 4 am). The rooms is clean, desk staff have been nice. Free airport shuttle and continental breakfast. One of the rooms I stayed in had cracked tile in the shower, so that was odd. The one thing that really annoys me about this place is that they don’t have curtains that actually keep the light out(at least that I could make work) There is a sheer curtain & a short thick curtain, that could block light, but it olny covers probably 20% of the window. It wouldn’t be so annoying if there were floodlights in the parking lots surrounding the hotel. So, either side you stay on your room won’t be dark… Overall, not a bad place to crash though.

This place was great super clean great walk in showers and the beds I want to purchase a mattress from them the best sleep I have every gotten in a hotel room. Once you hit the bed you don’t move until morning. I would say the only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast we went there once it was bad never went back. But the bed made up for it.:-) Thanks Fairfield.

Stayed here one night for visiting customer. The room is fairly clean, no werid smell. Room/bathroom size is decent. Bed/pillow is on the soft side, so depends if u like it or not. Breakfast is ok… cold boiled egg, microwave sandwitch, cereal, concentrated juice… stored muffin…
