I come here ALL THE TIME just for the potato tacos and the crab tostadas and it never lets me down. Anytime I crave ceviche I come straight here. The micheladas are okay. They taste different depending on who makes it which I don’t like. They need consistency when it comes to the micheladas.

Stopped by to eat at around 4 PM on a Sunday, place was crowded up front, and were told to sit at the very back, near the restrooms, which happened to be the darkest spot of the dining area.
Waitress comes and hands over a pamphlet, which happens to be the menu with NO PRICES ! This was a first, never been to a place where prices aren’t exposed.
I ordered an empanada plate & my husband ordered some tostadas de camaron. About 30 minutes later food comes. Not to mention, no complimentary chips or salsa.
My plate looked as if they didn’t have anymore salad and just tossed whatever they had left.. .Oh not to mention they didn’t have Agua de Piña anymore, so why mention it as an option right? I had to ask for their options since their menu didn’t have their drinks listed.
The tostadas looked tasty, yet they were missing the avocado.
As I begin to bite into my extremy hot empanadas, I burn myself with the shrimp juice drilping out of it. Who enjoys extremely hot food? Not me!
I then try a tosatada, which tasted better than my empanadas, but there wasn’t anything special about them, I’ve tasted better.
My husband then orders 2 grilled fish tacos, which took another 15 minutes. He mentioned they had a distinct taste and considered them good, but nothing big.
Our total was about $ 42 for an empanada plate, w sheimp tostadas, a jarrito, Michelada, a Modelo, and 2 shrimp tacos. A bit pricey I must say.
Well overall, after reading other reviews, I don’t see what the entire hype is all about. I didn’t leave the place content with the food or service, and most likely won’t be coming back.

My family and I came in here on a busy Sunday afternoon. The service was slow but expected given the amount of people in the restaurant. However, when you have to remind your waitress about your drink order multiple times then the frustration builds. I kept a cool head and waited for my water. The water came and it was 4oz of water in a little plastic cup. Really? I asked for a glass of water not a shot. I got a Coke instead. So the food finally came and it looked great! Tasted great too. I ordered the Molcajete. The shrimp and octopus pieces were great but it felt like they chopped half a red onion and stuffed it at the bottom to take up space. Literally I had way too much onion. Nevertheless after taking out the majority of the onion it was filling and the meal tasted great with the grilled peppers from the salsa bar. My parents thoroughly enjoyed their meals. If you feel like going to a very traditional Mexican seafood restaurant this place is good for you. At times you feel like you’re in Mexico (take that as you will). They even had a random walking through the restaurant pestering customers to buy his bootleg CDs and DVDs. Would I come back? If my family wanted to them yes. Alone? Nope.

Service was terrible!!! Food was cold wasn’t even busy. I’m sure if my plate was hot I would have enjoyed it. My Husband ordered the sea food plate he enjoyed it. The $$ was a little high… won’t be returning or recommending this place more because of the poor service.

Delicious food, great prizes. Protein shrimp tacos are the best & only $ 3.49. Their steak & fries are pretty good too, I also enjoy their side of beans with cheese and their avocado salsa and cucumbers are pretty darn awesome. I highly recommend this place!

Foods good. Chips n salsa were fresh … A little pricey though … Food came out fast. Friendly service.

Love this place. Never had a bad experience. I usually get the fish tacos but love their other tacos and nachos also. Alway recommend ppl to give it a try

This place is great. My bf and I come here regularly mainly for the seafood. The campechana cocktail is my favorite. The large is a really good size and filled to the top with delicious seafood. Their fish tacos are really good and the Wednesday $ 1.25 fish taco deal is a steal.
I have never experienced bad service here. Once you order at the front counter take a seat and someone will bring your food and drinks out for you. If you have any other requests there are people who can help you. The food is made fresh so sometimes you might have to wait awhile, but it’s worth it.
They have a great salsa bar. My boyfriend loves the Agua Chiles. I’m also a big fan of the micheladas. I don’t usually order lengua taco’s, but the meat is so tender here that I have to have at least one every visit.
I suggest giving them a try!

Been coming here for a good while now and it’s delicious every time! Their micheladas are good and everything is reasonably priced. I will definitely continue to come back!

I give it 4 stars because of the food is delicious but the service is really bad. And there rude. I got a ceivch tostada. I was in the mood for seafood. My boyfriend got a carne asdasa torta and my sister tacos with bean and rice. The torta looked so good I wanna go back to get for me.

The food is really good but the service its bad specialty the cashier paulet, she literally throw me my change in my face never gonna came back

Ok first time visit here. Won’t return for sure. If you want fast service they Def have that buuttt the food is very bland. If your into that then this is for you. We tried Cabeza tacos asada fries and this sampler platter of mariscos. After adding every hot sauce Lime and salt it was decent at best. Not cheap either. So needless to say more, if you want some food con sabor do not go here. So sad, we were hungry too !!

Really love the food here. There chicken taquitos are bomb and so are there shrimp tacos. They have many options. I LOVE Their steamed peppers. I really recommmend this place, however their staff is not the friendliest, their ok.

I am not impressed. Food is fair with very bland flavoring. The atmosphere is really dull. Service is just about as bland as the food. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. I won’t be coming back EVER.

I love all the food here, fast service too! It’s just great authentic Mexican food (I’m Mexican so I know what I’m talking about). The tacos are super good, so is the ceviche. The ceviche portion is big and will fill you up with one order of it! the tortas are also very very good! they have Mexican juices as well.

This spot is good and cheap. Plain and simple. Their strong point is the sea food, and their tostadas are really good.
Pros: taste, price, quality & quantity of food
Cons: location (hidden), interior décor (can do better), and the non-​seafood food. (Carne asada and such), it’s good but their sea food is much better.
Recommendations: shrimp empanadas, tostadas, campechana, & shrimp grilled tacos which are available in «protein style» if you watching that waist line.

The atmosphere is so chill on the food is very delicious. Their tacos or perfection and I had their piña colada and it was just perfect! I definitely want to return again and bring more company with me! They also serve all sorts of muddy schools which I wish I could’ve had the stomach capacity to try!

The place was so clean n spacious inside. all staff very friendly and fast. Food was delicious came here on a Friday had 2 fish tacos and a Mexican Coke all for under seven dollars. they have a salsa bar with three different types of salsa. Delicious.

Tacos al pastor are pretty good. The ambiance is nice with spanish music playing and have two seating areas. Good choice of salsas & condiments. Relatively clean.

Yesterday was my second time here.
My first time here was a few months ago, for Father’s Day. My dad loves mexican seafood, and found this place, thanks to Unilocal.
I tried the fish tacos and their potato tacos. Both we’re very good. My dad ordered the mariscos caldo and he loved it. Our whole party was very satisfied with their food. Also, the prices are very reasonable.
Yesterday was my second time here. This time, however, I joined in my order for pick up.
I was told my order will be ready in ten minutes. We were running a little late, and got there maybe 15 minutes after I called. I was expecting to just pick up my order and pay… But, my order wasn’t ready. Turns out, they hadn’t my even started my order. I guess, they don’t tart your ordered until you get there?!? That kind of defeats the whole purpose of calling ahead.
Anyway, the food didn’t take long to make, and when we took it home, we were again pleasantly surprised at how food the food is.
They also have a delicious salsa bar… All salsas are spicy but very good.
Needless to say, I will definitely be coming back.

Estoy muy desepcionada por que las ultimas veces que e venido a comer a Tacos La Bufadora nos dan menos y menos comida. La comida Es muy buena y tiene buen sabor pero la verdad que no Es justo que Suban Los precios y den menos. Los burritos Apenas y le ponen frijoles y carne. Pondre una foto para que bean como hacien Los burritos Antes y como Los hacen a hoy. La verdad que ya no dan ganas de regresa. Hasta los contenedores para la salsa estan mas chiquitos. Y nunca me cobraban para la creama extra al lado y ahora si. No creo que vuelva ya.
