I have been to a few accupuncturists but Dawn is sincerely the best. She is exceedingly knowledgable and has helped me so much with allergies, stress and muscle pain. She is trained as an RN, in accupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. She is a gem.

Dr. Mackey is awesome! She has a great bed side manner and listen to me and made great suggestions on make life changes in a kind way ! She helped me feel some much better and i can now walk and drive with no pain at all I feel like this is gonna be a very rewarding and successful partnership in my Health and happiness! If you have a Chance to go see her do it. She is one in a million and i feel blessed I found her on Unilocal ! I’ll be going weekly ! * Update been going for a month and I can see a great improvement in my wellbeing and over all health so it works for me and I not gonna stop seeing her weekly it that incredible for my life ! I am so pleased to finally find a great acupuncturist here in Riverside. The entire experience was calm and tranquil. I feel so much better and I’m sleeping much better. I highly recommend this place for pain relief.

Because of work, I spend most of my days at my desk behind the computer or lugging boxes of files/​cases weighing up to 30 lbs. around the Inland Empire. Over the course of two years, I’ve developed some upper back/​neck problems and just recently started feeling numbness in my fingers and elbows. In addition to this, I am really tired throughout the day and super low on energy.
Every 6 months, I get a massage but within weeks the pain and fatigue was back. I figured, rather than just massage the kinks out of my muscles, I really needed a lifestyle change and started researching acupuncture. I decided on Riverside Acupuncture because this clinic specialzes in acupuncture and it’s walking distance from my work. Speaking to Dawn over the phone was great and she was able to see me the day after I called.
Dawn explained a lot of the acupuncture technique and theory in terms I could understand and relate to (e.g. broad description of yin, chi, etc. and not too new-​age). She was able to look at my tongue and feel my pulse and pinpoint (excuse the pun) my symptoms before I even told her what I’ve been experiencing in regards to my low energy.
I just came from my first treatment and I already feel so much better than in the morning. I look forward to continuing my treatment with Dawn and I already feel that I can trust her.

Duangjai «Dawn» Mackey (L.Ac., RN, BSN, MSOM, DiplAcCH) is the acupuncturist and practitioner. I started going to Dawn over a year ago after I had been hospitalized and it became clear that I was no longer going to be able to take prescription meds for pain management issues. I was introduced to the idea of acupuncture. I was very skeptical at first that it would work in managing my intermittent and acute pain issues that happened on a regular basis. I found Dawn after researching acupuncture and looking at credentials. I wanted someone who understood western medicine as well as eastern medicine. Dawn has a background in nursing. She seems to understand how the herbs she prescribes may or may not interact with the western medicine I also take from my physicians. She does in fact get regular referrals from from physicians in Riverside and worked for a time in one of the medical groups. I went and visited her clinic before becoming a client/​patient to check out the set up. The clinic is very clean and welcoming. Dawn in engages in strict hygiene practices. She is very approachable and easy to talk with. She engages you as a partner in your treatments. I have to say that as skeptical as I was, the treatments have been helpful to me managing my pain. I would recommend Dawn.
