Established in 2010.

Boom Boom Basics began serving Richmond, Virginia in 2010, and quickly spread to weekend workshops and specialized classes along the east coast by 2011, and now serves across the United States!

«The Warrior of Burlesque,» Deanna Danger (www​.dean​nadan​ger​.com), is an international performance artist skilled in many genres, based in Richmond, VA. She is the Headmistress of Boom Boom Basics Burlesque & Performing Arts Studio, co-​producer/​co-​founder of the Capital City Burlesque & Vaudeville Festival, debuting 4^th of July weekend 2016 in Washington DC, producer & director of Byrlesque At The Byrd, Richmond’s classic burlesque and vaudeville showcase at the historic Byrd Theatre, and founder & producer of national touring troupe, The Mason Dixie Burlesque Tour. She is Richmond’s reigning, voted «Best Burlesque Performer» and the 2012 1^st place «Crystal Corset Award» winner at the Pennsylvania Burlesque Festival.
