Since 1960, Toby McPheeters has owned and operated her own dance studio with a special dedication to children. Here, children can learn to express themselves physically and artistically through lessons in classical dance. Classes are offered in ballet, jazz, tap, and lyrical. Combination classes are also offered which include gymnastics for ages 3 to 8 years old. Toby’s School of Dance is where your children learn to cross-​ball-​change their way into the hearts of the community.

Business Owner

Toby M is the owner, director and manager of the studio. She has owned and operated her own studio for the last 51 years. Toby has studied dance from such world renowned teachers as Edna McRae, Fronie Asher, Robert Bell, Nathalie Krassovska, Arthur Mitchell, Marjorie Tallchief, Victor Moreno, Randelyn Kaye, Nancy Cross, and Fernando Schaffenberg. As a Board member of the Dallas Dance Council for 20 years, she has served as Vice-​President and Treasurer. She has been Vice-​President of Philanthropy, on the Board of the Richardson Council of the Arts, and is Co-​Director of the children in the Moscow Ballet, Great Russsian Nutcracker In November of 2007 she was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Dallas Dance Council.
