OHMYGOODNESS! These ladies took such good care of an out-​of-​towner who just needed some last minute Saturday pampering and date prep. We were there on a marriage retreat and I really wanted to look nice, they stayed a little late that day to help me feel beautiful!!! SO grateful, we had a fabulous date night and my hair (blow-​out) stayed lovely for days! I have never had such a fabulous experience at a spa, felt so welcomed immediately. And I must say, they KNOW Brazilian bikini waxes. Oh how I wish I could take these ladies back with me to Columbia, SC! Gratefully, M

Curly-​haired ladies… do yourself a favor and go see Ani the next time your hair is driving you crazy. She’s been trained on the Ouidad cut, a process that eliminates bulk and allows curls to just fall beautifully into the place. I took a chance, and I’m thrilled! Here it is a week later, and all I need to do is shampoo, put curling gel in my hair when it’s still wet, and go. It dries to perfection — just what I need as we enter the hot, humid days of summer! It’s so nice to leave a hair salon happy with the cut, and then STILL be happy when you wash it a few days later. (Plus, Ani is very sweet, too. She spent a long time explaining the process to me, which I appreciated.)

I wanted to treat and pamper myself for a trip I was going on to California. Nice location, easy to find. I decided to arrive earlier just because it was the first time and I always get lost (smh)Upon arrival I was greeted and offered a drink. Comforting atmosphere and a pleasant waiting room. Glad I came early, I was given an information sheet to fill out, making it personal.
Taken to a room by Melodie who was going to do my hair. Before getting my hair done I showed her what I wanted to get done. She gave me more options to look over, which I appreciate. I got side cornrows with curls. As she was doing my hair, she gave me tips on how to keep my hair healthy. Since I only put it in a bun or wear a hat and call it a day. Very knowledgeable, let me know what products were being put in my hair and why, also how to make my hairstyle last longer.
Overall, great location, relaxing atmosphere and Melodie was fantastic helped me boost my confidence and made me feel fabulous. I loved my look. I will definitely be going back.

Five stars! Great services at Spa Noa. They are all fabulous, friendly, and knowledgable when it comes to skin care and laser hair removal. Parvin is a talented hair stylist and Afsoon gave me an awesome mani/​pedi! Love it here, will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved my experience at Spa Noa. Mary doesn’t just style hair, she’s a true artist and brings creativity and talent into her work. Everyone made me feel like royalty. I’m so glad I found this gem.

I just had a facial from Wendy at Spa Noa… let me say, «wonderful!!!» I went in with concerns about my fair skin –a tendency to redness and dryness. After a discussion about what I use on my face and my goals for the service, Wendy gave suggestions. What I liked is that all additional costs were discussed upfront and there was zero pressure on services or products. I thought of the discussion as education versus «selling.»
I now have glowy and plump skin and am thrilled! I shall return!

I just walked out of there and am fuming. Waited 25 minutes for my appointment. It was supposed to be my first appointment there. Nobody even apologized, nobody offered a glass of water, nothing! She just looked at me when I left. So upset. My time is important and you guys are not doctors, that I have to wait for 25 + minutes to finally see the hair stylist. How rude! Obviously, you have lots of business and don’t care about mine, so I will go somewhere else.
EDIT: Just got off the phone with Mary, one of the owners. It was very nice of her to reach out and offer to make up for this. I will give them another try in the future.

I have been a client for over 10 years and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. As a person that has rosacea I had tried everything with little to no improvement. Until I discovered the «Clear and Brilliant» treatment at Spa Noa. Not only has my rosacea improved dramatically,
the fine lines around my lips and eyes have diminished. You owe it to yourself to give it a try.
The spa is spotless and the staff is top notch.

walked in to try my luck at a massage appointment and hallelujah they had availabilities! Wendy was a great therapist but (i didn’t see it with my own eyes) i got the feeling she was texting on her phone while giving me my 90 minute massage. i could hear buttons being pressed and then parts of my massage would be with one hand and it was obvious she was distracted — the pressure would be WAY light and the movement would be MUCH slower (really?). towards the end it seemed rushed like she wanted to get out of there. i’d go again but have another therapist. the manicure/​pedicure spaces in the back looked nice, although one station was right in front of the walkway so one poor lady had to deal with foot traffic of clients/​staff going to the back for the restroom and what not. other than that, great place.

This review is sooo long overdue! I’ve been going to Spa Noa for about three years now, and they have consistently exceeded my expectations every single visit. To make things even better, the spa is now under new management so it has become even better.
First off, the environment at Spa Noa is SO relaxing. It smells great, is super clean, and the receptionist is incredibly kind and welcoming.
I started coming here for laser hair removal treatments. The type of laser they use yields great results. I’ve gotten laser hair removal from Reveal medspa before and the results were extremely poor. I ended up spending so much money with almost no results. At Spa Noa, I noticed the results in just one session.
Then I moved on to facials and let me tell you– I couldn’t be happier! Lucy truly took the time to listen to my concerns and told me what she could do to achieve my desired effect.
All in all, I HIGHLY recommend coming here for all of your skincare/​beauty/​mental sanity needs.

I LOVE MARY!!! She is a hair Monet! She’s an artist. I’m blonde and that can be really hard to do and make look natural — but Mary did it! It didn’t look brassy. It looks extremely natural (and perfect). And what’s more, Mary is just an awesome person. I just genuinely enjoy her company and wit. She’s great and her work is the best quality.

Lucy did the most amazing job waxing! It was such a pleasurable experience, she was very professional and friendly, even did an oxygenating treatment to help prevent future «hair bumps» since I had told her I had experienced that after my last waxing.
It was my first time at Spa Noa and they were kind enough to see me right then. Definitely recommend and will be back soon!

I had a facial with Lucy, and was very pleased with it; she did a lovely job, and was very sweet. It was my first facial in a decade, so she had a lot to contend with!

My mother gave me a gift card with around $ 300. On it a while back, when I called to check the balance I was told that the gift card was expired and was not worth any money any longer.

My favorite is Lucy. She’s been my esthetician for 8 years. She provides great facials that include a foot and hand massage! She also does a great job with bikini waxes (and somehow makes them less painful).
I also buy my skin products here. IS Clinical makes a really good eye moisturizer and face moisturizer.
I understand that Spa Noa is under new management and that we will see lots of changes.
Before the ownership was a bit removed from the business. Now they have 2 people who are working in the business running the spa.
Can’t wait to see what changes they offer!

In town for work and had a little time for a massage and pedicure. This is more of a top line massage envy rather than a real spa. For instance they don’t have full spa facilities like a steam room or sauna.
Nice enough place. Great massage and thorough pedicure.
Detractors were that it wasn’t an actual spa, as described above, and they won’t allow you to add gratuity to the credit card. I asked why and was told because they take out money from the credit card charges and that most spas don’t let you put gratuity on cards. I have never encountered this. I am traveling and don’t want to spend all my cash. Still tipped well but would have rounded up if I could have put on my card. It also made me feel a little icky what are they trying to avoid?

I just love Spa Noa. I’ve been going for years and it’s an excellent spa with great staff and Rebecca will give you an excellent facial, complete with foot and hand treatment. Amazing. Mina is the Manager at the desk and couldn’t be more gracious or helpful. Wonderful place!

I go to Spa Noa quite often, this is a review of just the hair stylist Nella!
Spa Noa in the past year or two actually just added hair services, and as they don’t «appear» to specialize in «hair» I was a bit hesitant to test those services out. I decided to give it a try when I saw they were offering a hair cut and wash on a 45 dollar email special.
Super glad I did! Nella was very professional, listened to exactly what I wanted and did exactly what I asked. I think this was the cheapest, best haircut, wash and blowdry Ive received in the DC metropolitan area in years. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and better yet, didn’t try to sell me anything! I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Nella! She even said if I didn’t find my bangs short enough I could come back and shed trim them for free. Great service, great value.
However fellow Unilocalers, if you sign up for the daily email special at Spa Noa, they will let you know when they have open appointments at discounted prices. So my advice is to NEVER PAY RETAIL… sign up for the email specials! They run the hair special normally a few days a week and if you can be flexible it might save you 10 or 20 bucks!

Three and a half stars. Located in the Plaza America shopping center, on the other side of the bakery from Whole Foods and CVS. This is probably the fifth time I’ve had someone else do my brows for me. The ladies at the front desk were a little distracted at first, but eventually offered me refreshments while I waited since my esthetician was running late. They were a bit agitated when they realized that they didn’t ask me to fill out the «first visit» form until after the appointment, despite me waiting past my appointment time. Rebecca was nice enough during my experience; It was relaxing, she was meticulous, and the end shape was pretty close to what I was looking for.
Fun massage packages and other special offers are available to people on their mailing list. My only complaint is that I thought it was a little unprofessional for Rebecca to perform her consultation with her previous client in the waiting area. I felt a little embarrassed for the girl, since she was obviously uncomfortable enough that her mother had brought her in to have her acne looked at. I’d be willing to come back for the same service. I feel bad about not bringing cash for a tip that trip, but I think they were so frazzled by how poorly standard ops had gone they didn’t mention the proximity of an ATM.
