We’re lucky to have such an awesome, amazing, knowable foot doctor in this area. Living in Reno all my life I have found that doctors in this area are behind the times. Most my doctors are in Boise ID. This is my health and my life so I don’t mind traveling to get the best care. A friend in the medical field recommend him to me. So I thought I’d give him a try. I waited no longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room and no longer than 5 minutes in the exam room. He was so nice and when I questioned something, he took the time to explain it to me so I understood everything. He knows his stuff. After reading some of the reviews about the time issues, I knew he would be amazing. I don’t like waiting too, but I don’t mind it because I know that this doctor will spend whatever time I need from him. We need more doctors with this bedside manner.(And I don’t have to drive 7 hours to Boise and back) This is your life, so maybe bring a book with you. Take this time and use it as a gift to slow down and have time for yourself. Relax. Enjoy. Life is short.

This office is the worst! Expect 1 hour wait times all day, and a Dr that has no care in the world because he is too busy listening to himself talk.

Nice, intelligent doctor and staff but three stars for all of the appointments I have waited for. Expect to wait in the waiting room and exam room for at least 30 min. I like Dr. Karrasch but the wait makes me think twice about scheduling to make sure I have enough time to sit without other commitments. Hopefully surgery results turn out well so I never have to wait again!

We waited for over an hour and a half before giving up and leaving the office. It was our first appt, and so we did not get seen. We checked with the receptionist who admitted they do tend to run ‘a bit late’, due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ with patients. Well, BYDEFINITION, if you run late habitually, you are OVERBOOKING your appointments. My time is precious. My spouse and I took time off work from a high-pressure project with a deadline that is looming to come to this appointment. It is disrespectful of your patients to treat them that way. Who knows how much longer we would have had to wait? The reception area was overflowing with people when we left, so I can only imagine how many hours they were going to be waiting. At a certain point, it really does not matter how good the doctor is. We can drive to a nearby major city with excellent health care in the time it takes to wait for an appointment here, so that is what we will do if necessary. We are done with this office.
