History

Established in 2013.

Jen has worked independently for the last 5 years and has practiced physical therapy for over a dozen years. She has furthered her body awareness work through teaching both pilates and yoga and a lifelong self –practice of many sports, including swimming, rowing, triathlon and hiking. Jen brings a wealth of knowledge on graduate levels that assesses each person, at three unique levels: body, mind and spirit. It is the integration of these three areas that allow one to allow one to recognize that motion is lotion. Allow Jen to restore your motion today.

Jen D.

Business Owner

Jen is a licensed physical therapist, and is certified in Pilates and Yoga, both of which she has practiced for years. She «discovered» pilates years ago as both healing and transformative for injuries she had undergone, and invites her clients to explore wellness through that mind-body-spirit connection. Jen has a unique, personalized approach to teaching, supported by extensive graduate level studies, which involves thorough assessment of her clients and customized fitness strategies that build strength, postural awareness, and flexibility. Beyond the studio doors, Jen sees patients privately to address functional mobility challenges. Athletically, she has excelled in competitive swimming and triathlons .As a movement educator, she also teaches TRX and Body Rolling locally. She enjoys spending time with friends, exploring the environs, hiking and dining out. Jen’s mantra is: motion is lotion; lotion to the body, mind and spirit
