So we ended up with another dog with «special needs.» We thought she was normal but it became clear pretty fast that she doesn’t much like some other dogs, she will only go potty on walks and not in the yard, and she has a delicate stomach. Jonna and her team have not just been dog walkers for us, they have been our safety net while we’re at work. There have been strange housetraining incidents, gastrointestinal issues, and last minute requests for private dog babysitting. Every time Jonna and the other walkers have been there for us with help and lots of texts with cute doggie photos. They baby our dog with private or semi-​private walks. None of this nonsense where you see some dogwalker with like 8 dogs. Jonna and all our walkers, including our current walker, Joanna, are just super cool people that we trust.

Yes I voted «Woohoo! As good as it gets!» I have used several dog walking services in the Southbay area over the past several years and Walk & Wag is as good as your going to get! Jonna, and Jenny who walks Bones, makes sure his meds are administered on time, lunch and/​or dinner is served, and of course he gets his walk and potty break. As a nurse many days I’m asked to work over and Jenny always, without hesitation will go back for a second visit which gives me so much piece of mind. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Walk & Wag for your pet sitting/​walking needs!

We discovered Jonna through a friend. We are so happy we did! She’s fantastic! We have left our toy poodle, Griffin, with her for weeks at a time. He is always returned to us in excellent condition! She has taken the worry out of traveling for us. I would recommend her whole heartily to anyone looking for pet care or dog walking. She is super kind and flexible! The best!

I’d highly recommend Jonna and Walk and Wag. She is great with our dog. Sends us pix of his walk every day. Sam looks forward to her gentle and cheerful demeanor every afternoon. You can tell she’s a dog person, and not just doing a job. From her cheerful «Hello» to her giving Sam affection (and treats), she’s definitely found her calling. Sam recommends her as well.

Jonna is an amazing dog walker/​sitter. She really put me at ease with my 13 weeks old american eskimo and shiba inu mix puppy. I had a wedding to attend and I needed someone to come by the house every 3 – 4 hours to take the puppy out to potty and have some play time with him. She sent me videos and photos of him during every visit and made sure he was fed and taken care of. She also followed up the next day to see if everything was okay. I highly recommend her and I will be in touch with her again pretty soon.

Jonna is an outstanding dog walker and she definitely has a gift for this. We have a 3 year old shiba inu, who is a big time prima donna. She makes everyone literally earn her love after 3 or 4 visits with her. Jonna was super flexible with this, and she came over multiple times to meet and go on a test-​walk with her. Now, like in the other reviews, our dog squeals and Unilocal and dances whenever Jonna comes by to walk her. And we suspect that she misses Jonna and mopes every weekend when it’s «just» us walking her.
Jonna makes everything really simple and easy with the whole process. We’re really comfortable with her judgment and she’s very accommodating. Our dog isn’t the best with other dogs on a walk; so Jonna agreed to take her on solo walks only. We get photos after every walk, and Jonna lets us know right away if anything is different with our shiba’s mood or habits. Jonna also knows great dog sitters (if she’s not available) and she’s a great resource for any questions.
We’re really lucky we were able to sign up with Jonna and she gets our, and our dog’s, highest recommendation.

Being a self admitted paranoid dog-​Mom, I spent months looking for someone to care for my 2 dogs while I went to Europe for 2 weeks. No one will treat your dogs like you do, but Jonna certainly does and I think they had a better life with her during those 2 weeks than with me! A huge sigh of relief as I now trust her with my dogs anytime, anywhere for as long as she can stand it. Jonna is SUPER: dependable, responsible, responsive, caring and trustworthy. She asked questions and addressed any issues that I may have thought of before I could even voice them. She fully prepares your dogs and the owner before taking your dogs into her home. She follows all directives that you may have for your dog. She watches them like a hawk, she reports on their days, eating & behavior, she sends daily pictures with updates. If you call, she responds immediately. She fully and completely gets it and that is because she fully and completely loves dogs! It is apparent in everything she does. Her own dogs Bailey & Riley are beautiful, exceptionally groomed, sweet dogs that welcome other doggie friends with open paws. Jonna takes every precaution, and as I handed my babies over to her for the two weeks, I actually exhaled knowing that I could go away and enjoy my vacation. I received pictures at the beach, on the cliffs, lounging in front of the fireplace at home, cuddling etc. I could not have been happier, she far exceeded my expectations. Jonna is quite simply AMAZING!!! She took care of my two Siberian Husky fur babies while I was out of town for 4 days. Not only are my darling angels a handful, my baby girl is also a «special needs» dog and requires quite a bit of extra care and attention. Jonna came 3 – 4 times a day to walk, feed, give both dogs medicine and put them to bed. I am very certain that I got a lot of extra value for Jonnas very reasonable fees!!! She was extremely communicative, sent texts and pictures at each visit. I’ve never been this relaxed leaving my fur kids! I came home to a clean yard, and healthy happy fur kids… We all couldn’t be happier! Jasper and Riley give Jonna two paws up!

You can tell that Jonna has a deep love & connection with animals. Both of her own Aussie’s are direct recipients, she tells me, & she is quickly building special bonds with all her clients & pets.
Jonna has an amazing personality — outgoing, friendly, caring & very professional. Anyone would have an immediate trust & feel completely at ease with having her care for their pet in & around their home. Whatever the arrangement is, you can depend on her to meet the need.
She has cared for our male Lab, Hank & female Pit mix, Ed on several occasions… walking, hiking, feeding & belly rubs!
These dogs are always happy to see Jonna show up at our house.

Jonna has changed my life! My dog Bella just LOVES her, and gets so excited on the days I set everything out for Jonna. She sends pics and updates me on everything she does — which I love and appreciate so much.
She is everything you could want from a dog walker/​pet sitter. She is always on time, and always goes the extra mile. (She even went BACK to my house after I had mistakenly left my door unlocked to lock it for me without even me asking her!!) For someone who loves their dog as much as I do, she really puts my mind at ease while I am at work. Jonna is also so great about last minute requests, I often get stuck at work and don’t know until the last minute if I am in need of her services, and she is always accommodating.
I would recommend Jonna and her services to anyone in need of pet services, whether it be for a week away, or a lunch time pee break. She truly is amazing with dogs, and she loves them just as much as they love her! Not to mention, incredibly affordable, especially for the one on one attention your pup always receives :)

Jonna walks our dogs multiple times per week. When she first came to meet with the dogs, she spent a good amount of time getting to know them and learning what our expectations are on the walk.
In the past when we’ve had a dog walker, I found that the dogs were less controlled when I would walk them, indicating that their walker really let them run the show. It would take me a few minutes to get them back «in line», which was a frustration I didn’t welcome. This is not the case with Jonna. She meets our dogs’ needs in every way, and ours — she even texts me pictures of them after the walk, so I can see how wiped out and happy they are.
I can’t recommend her enough! She’s professional, on time, friendly and (most importantly) really loves dogs and her job.
