They’re generally pretty solid, but my last experience makes me not want to return. There were too many people working on the same thing to be efficient. From start to finish, my sandwich passed through the hands of 4 people, and like a game of telephone, part of my order was mixed up on each step of the way. In short, I ordered a turkey/bacon/avocado sandwich, but they forgot the avocado and charged me extra for the bacon. When I brought it up, they argued with me and would not remove the charge for bacon. To make matters worse, they took my sandwich away from me after we had already overpaid and insisted on «fixing it». I told them to please give me my sandwich and that I did not want them to fix it but the woman in particular was not willing to let me just leave after everything had been paid for. I felt guilty because I eventually just grabbed my sandwich and left. There were at least 10 people behind us in line, and simply listening and acknowledging that the customer is always right could have avoided an unnecessary experience like this.

Excellent customer service today from Pancho here at subway. The women that helped me wasn’t that friendly but Pancho helped my boyfriend and was extremely nice and helpful. He also checked the price of apples for me when I asked and was very happy to do so with a smile on his face. Friendliest/best experience I have had at subway, usually employees don’t seem like they are in a good mood, but Pancho went above and beyond customer service! Thanks Pancho J. for your great service!

This SUBWAY sandwich shop is good, located next to a Panda Express and the Smash Burger as well as Dickey’s BBQ and Fresh Bros Pizza, as well as a Whole Foods Market, so there’s a lot of food places to choose from here, and it’s a good place for an affordable sandwich when they run specials. The sandwich of choice to me is the cheaper one on their menu, the MEATBALLMARINARA which regularly is $ 3.75 for a 6″(and I think they put 4 ping pong size meatballs as the allocation), but once in a while they run a special for a lot lower, sometimes $ 3 and during the holiday I remember for the month of December it was only $ 2, which was a great deal. The parking is easy here since it’s a big lot, and it’s located near the beach so you can buy your sandwiches here and have a picnic on the sand by the shore for an ocean view, or sit up on the paved area of the strand for a scenic view with the sun, sand and coastal view by the sounds of the sea.

This Subways is clean and fast. The only problem is that they use Miracle Whip instead of Best Foods Mayo. Holy Sour Mayo Batman!

It felt like they wanted to avoid the«Free meal if we forget to give you a receipt» sign that they had next to the cash register. Yesterday, we came here and got a sandwich, and the guy didn’t give us a receipt. So we asked the other person who was working there if they’d honor the statement on the sign. She printed our receipt and wrote a note on it, telling to bring it back next time we came to get our free meal. Well, we came back earlier today. There was a different set of workers. We built our sandwich and showed the girl at the register the receipt. She kept asking questions like, «what time did you come yesterday?» and«who was working when you were here?». She was blankly staring at the receipt, like she couldn’t see that the cashier’s name and the time of transaction was printed at the top of the receipt.(- _-) So she called her manager, who said she would look at the video from the cameras from last night. Really? Why can’t you just call whoever worked? Or better yet, LOOKATTHERECEIPT. It’s proof that it happened! Timestamp and everything! But anyway, after talking to her manager, the girl said that the manager would call us back in an hour. It’s been about six hours since then. And we never got a call from the manager of this store. What’s the point in putting up that sign if you’re not going to honor it? Really.

I tend to get the same thing at subway and it is always good. The staff however is usually high school kids that seem to have better things to do than work. I remember what it was like to be a teenager so I don’t really get too upset, unless I am in a hurry. The food is fresh.

Service was kind of slow and you have to watch what they are putting on your sandwich since you tell them one thing and then add something else. Has all of the drinks, chips, etc. that you would expect to find at a Subway. Parking can be tough during the day or early evening since it shares a lot with Whole Foods.

This location is in the same lot as the Whole Food, and near the library and Redondo Union High. They don’t have to be fresh and good at service, since they get a lot of customers anyway. If you can curb your subway craving, drive east to the Torrance location across street from the mall.
