Meet the Business Owner

William L.

Business Owner

After practicing law in Michigan since 1969. He was in a partnership in Redding from 1976 until 2006 at which time he opened his own office.

He accepts cases in Shasta, Tehama, Trinity and Siskiyou counties.

He has served as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Assn. and as a temporary Judge in the Shasta County Superior Court.

Mr. Meek has a BS degree in Business Admin. and his Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University in 1969.

In 1970 he worked for the Law Office of Daniel Zolkower where he remained until relocating to Redding in 1976 where he was primarily involved in personal injury defense litigation. During this time he was appointed to be the Assistant General Counsel to American Fellowship Mutual Insurance Co.

In additional to his legal work, Mr. Meek served for many years on school boards and church boards and has been appointed yearly to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Shasta County Public Library since 1991 by the Shasta County Board of Supervisors.
