History

Established in 2013.

Service Nerd first started to repair on Apple, Computer PC, Android, Game Consoles as a small cart inside of the Victoria Gardens mall. Having jumped into this business head first with not much planning, things were very (and I mean very) difficult. With a lot of hard work we were able to grow to our modest 150 square foot kiosk to now being fortunate enough to have secured a 1,200 square foot retail space at the Victoria Promenade, just minutes away from the mall! We still have a lot of history to make, iPhones screens to fix, lessons to learn, and we hope that you can all join us on our journey to the top.

I was first «introduced» to iPhone repair having fixed a screen for a friend of mine. I was working for Best Buy Geek Squad at the time and that screen repair took, no joke, 2 or 3 hours. I had bitten off more than I could chew since iPhone repair was not exactly the same as repairing a Macbook or any other computer for that matter. I very rarely did repairs and limited my repair service to close friends and family being that I did not enjoy it as much as I do today. Early 2013 Best Buy was going through some tough times and I was caught in a acutely stressful situation, until one day I took some vacation days and never returned. I left to start my own business, something I had always dreamed of, and am now looking to celebrate our 2^nd year of repair service! Lastly, I would like to thank each and every customer we have ever helped, good or bad, because we have come a long way and I am proud to own Service Nerd. Oh, and I can fix an iPhone much faster these days :)
