GTR High Performance

I’ve been coming to GTR for 2 years now, and since day one no matter what the maintenance, performance upgrade, or repair issue is; Ive received the same level of customer service that you see every business advertise but very few receive. GTR goes the extra mile for their customers because they know that, THAT is how you earn lifetime customers. Gonzalo, Ricardo, Andrew, Josh and all their staff are some of the most professional and courteous people I’ve dealt with. I refuse to take my Mustang anywhere but to GTR HiPo.

I first brought my old 2006 Mustang to GTR in 2014, and from the very first call I placed to GTR they have been nothing but professional, welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful. The prices are great, the quality of work is superb, and the attention to detail is exceptional. Ricardo and his staff has been my go-​to whenever I have a question or request. Now I own a 2015 Mustang, and I will continue to take my car to GTR for future mods, but also basic maintenance.

I called Ricardo last minute I didn’t have a mustang and he still made time to see me and put in my K&N intake. He did it in 1.5hrs and affordable labor. Great Job and immediate service. I highly recommend them

I just purchased a steeda tri ax short shifter for me ’12 mustang gt. Definitely a lot better than the stock shifter. Overall quality is amazing and I have a hard time trusting performance shops so I did my research and found that this was the best choice. GTR high performance did an amazing job installing my short shifter! I’m definitely going back to this shop for more mods when it comes time. They do installations in a timely manner and I couldn’t be more happy! Thank you for a great experience!

After countless hours of research, I sent an e-​mail to GTR inquiring about suspension upgrades for my ’14 Mustang. Ricardo responded to me promptly and was extremely patient and helpful in finding the perfect performance parts for my car. Ricardo’s recommendations rang true with everything I had found on my online research. The shop price matched online retailers for the parts I wanted and their labor rates were reasonable.
The in-​shop experience was outstanding, as well. Gonzalo and Ricardo were extremely professional on the day of the install and Ricardo spent a while at the end of the day discussing options for my pending supercharger install, which will certainly be done at their shop.
I absolutely love my new suspension set up. I live in San Diego, but after briefly dealing with the big name performance shop in my area, I will be taking my car up the road to GTR. Thanks, guys!!!

Horrible service, everything started with me getting a quote for a clutch job on my 2004 mustang GT I had msg their page to get a quote they initially asked me if it had any moddifications that would take more time to work on I gave them a list of them and they told me that with the bbk long tube headers it would take longer thus they would charge me 400 dollars for the job, a couple weeks went by and I called in to get a quote in addition to the clutch job I already had a quote for, when I called it took them about 20 min just to get back to me seems like they had a new person helping because he knew nothing about pricing and would take forever to go ask and respond, at the end he gave me the new quote for the clutch job at 420 with the long tubes, I messaged them to ask if I would need an appointment to get the clutch done and they respond with a new price for the third time and state that the job will now cost me $ 600, they have horrible service and very un-​professional, I had been there before on their dyno day and seemed a lot more professional when I had been there seems things have changed

Best Mustang Shop in California by FAR! Great/​Friendly Staff, Professional Certified Techs that take there time with precision and do the job right. Customers cars are the #1 Priority. Gonzalo and Ricardo are a great team. High Performance is in there blood. Very knowledgeable and can assist you with your High Performance Automotive needs. They can do just about anything and even help you with info on how to do things yourself. I recommend GTR not just to Mustangs but other powerful Fords and even Dodge and Chevy owners. GTR even works on Imports such as BMW’s, MBenz, Subaru’s, Evos, Mini Coopers, ect…

It doesn’t get better than Ricardo and Gonzalo.
I have been working with them for over 10 years from when they had a small one driveway car, all the way up to now with their 10,000 sq ft lot… and each and every step of the way they have been real, professional, honest and just plain old caring. They treat you like a person, not just a customer. They go the extra mile for you, emails, phone calls, diagnosis of car, etc. If you are a Mustang enthusiast and need some parts installed or your car checked, I would HIGHLY recommend GTR to you. I drive from West LA to Rancho Cucamonga just for this service, that’s about an hour drive… WELL WORTH IT!!!
Additionally I must say I have had 2 Ford Mustangs and they have installed all the parts that I couldn’t on each vehicle. One is my daily driver… but the other is my Show and Go car that got the engine rebuilt, they installed the supercharger with intercooler, etc. I can’t say enough about GTR, go there, you will love it, period.

I took both my mustangs here for tuning and have also purchased a supercharger. Ricardo and Gonzalo are top notch people to deal with and there customer service is second to none. They will tell you exactly what hp your car will make with various products since they dyno so many cars. You will not be disappointed. Check them out.

Do not go to GTR unless you want to do business with company that will do whatever it takes to make you happy. Ricardo and Gonzalo do so much more that just add power. They will carefully listen to you and recommend what is best for your car. They are also honest enough to say no when necessary.
I had a problem with my clutch that another shop installed. When I brought it to GTR they not only fixed my problem but installed the perfect clutch for my 03 Mach 1.
One more thing about these guys, whether you are a «big ticket» customer or someone on a limited budget, they will work with you and give you the same level of great customer service.

Ricardo and Gonzalo are the best in the business! Both provide stellar customer service (and that’s an understatement) and are extremely knowledgeable. I went in to have my car tuned (I came from a different shop that could not figure out why was car couldn’t be tuned properly) and Ricardo was able to get down to core issues. Ricardo took the time to explain exactly what was wrong, why it was an issue and how to fix it. He was able to tune my car to be reliable on the street. I still need to return once I fix my exhaust leak to have it tuned properly. But that, of course, will be after I get my taxes!
This is definitely the best Mustang shop I have ever been to, and I’ve been to many! Go there! You will love it!

Love these guys, they do awesome work and very friendly. Had them install some headers on my stang and they did a great job. Would recommend to anyone!

I was dissapointed by the way I was treated after trying to set up an appointment. Twice they cancelled on me and only because they had a magazine that was there shooting. That tells you they rather leave an unhappy customer only to be put in a cover of a magazine. Won’t do any business there.

Came here to get my S197 done up and Gonzalo, Ricardo, Elie are freaking awesome. They installed my Vortech SUpercharger, ceramic coated headers, short shifter, etc. And the car runs grrrrreat! They also have an in house Dyno so you can see what kind of numbers you are putting out. They dont try to sell you things you dont need just to make a quick buck and they make you feel at home. All of them are ASE certified so you know they know the game. And they are always readily available to answer any questions you may throw at them. Gonna bring the ’10 Mustang here as well when I get it come next summer…

I love these guys. They do excellent work on any Mustang, any year! Gonzalo, Ricardo, Chris, Elie are all good at working on my Cobra!
