We really enjoyed the This winery! Gordon personally greeted us and treated us to a wonderful tasting experience, a bit of history of the winery and of course everything we needed to know about the various wines he was pouring. Awesome atmosphere, great company and we all walked away so happy to have discovered this fantastic winery in Prosser wine vally.

Winemaker extraordinaire Gordon Taylor and local Chef Kristin M. Johnson to created a beautiful and over-​the-​top, FUN winemaker’s dinner experience for a dear friend’s 50th birthday! Everything was perfect, Gordon’s beautiful home, gorgeous setting, generous hospitality… of course Gordon’s amazing wines paired perfectly with Kristin’s delicious meal! Everything far exceeded my hopes for the celebration. Thank you, thank you! And thanks to Sonya and Andrew for their help too!
The energy of a fun girls weekend, combined with personal winemakers dinner with Gordon and Kristin made for an unforgettable experience.

Great winery off the beaten path. Gordon was very energetic his wines were better. We loved all of the detailed notes… Down to the type of yeast used to ferment. Go here for there so deal.

Absolutely delightful little winery. It’s off the beaten path (a bit) but VERY worth the effort! The tasting room is small (but elegant) The wines are wonderful, the employees are TOPS, the winery is situated in the Horse Heaven Hills and offers a terrific view of the shrub-​steppe landscape of the Yakima Valley. A great place to bring out-​of-​town guests, or to sample some excellent local wines.

Read some Unilocal reviews so thought we’d give this winery a try. Awesome! The people (especially Sonya) were great — knowledgable, fun, & entertaining. The atmosphere was warm& inviting — not pretentious. And the wine was delicious! They take great pride in the quality of their wine and it shows. They benefit greatly from Dr Davenport’s soil expertise and Gordon’s scientific approach. Worth a stop!

Easily the best winery in the area. There wine is amazing and a real step up compared to all the others. Half of the charm to this winery is that is completely off the beaten path. There is a reason why this winery wins the awards they do!

This is a Prosser winery perched along the side of the Horseheaven Hills of the Yakima Valley. The winery sits atop a hill and the vineyard is draped below like a shawl.
Daven Lore’s wine can be purchased at many local stores, and they offer tastings at the Prosser and Richland Farmer’s markets. There is a tasting room at the actual winery, but you may need to call ahead to arrange a visit.
They offer a fair range of different types of grape juice… errr…wine. The bottle I purchased after a tasting was nice and made me a happy camper.
Give them a visit at a Farmer’s Market, or if you’re lucky, drop by the winery.
