Let’s clear something up for Unilocal searchers from this point on: NOKARAOKE — SOMELIVEMUSIC — LOTSOFPOOL This is now a Sports Pub a few TVs some pool tables, dart boards and a very good size year around smoking patio. If you want to stay away from tourists, mind your own business and have some basic drinks on the cheap, then this is your place. There are plenty of snacks, a bit more than most bars, but no kitchen. Just microwave pizza and the like. The bar is pretty laid back. It’s not unfriendly, but don’t expect the bartenders to warm up to you if your not a regular. If you come alone and want to be left alone, you’ll be happy. Pool tournaments are the big thing here. The crowd may look a little rough to outsiders but most are just regular bar folk that want nothing to do with Whiskey Row. For what it is, the place is fine.

I have been coming in, on & off, since 2005… It was better in 2005 to 2009, when they used to have bands play on the weekends… But not anymore. Last time I came in was 2 months ago & it was fairly quiet, but the bartender remembered me & was very friendly this time around(it was my first time in there in over 1 year)…Didn’t have a very good experience the last time I went in, back in 2013… It’s a much mellower bar nowadays… So if you want quiet, with good music & play pool then this is the place. For dancing & bands now, you must go further down the road to Whiskey Row to get that fun…

Went in here just to check it out and have a drink on happy hour and if your not a little rougher/tougher looking I probably wouldnt give this place a shot. Most of the patrons are locals and are on a first name basis with the bar tender. Beer was cheap and good. If you have a polo on your over dressed.

We have been 3 times… each time it’s been a awful. The bartender does a fair job but never even says Thank you for the more than 30% tip we left her… doubt she gets tipped like that on 2 beers… and the crowd… gross, grizzly and seems like the pit of humanity hangs out there. It’s never busy but people are just flat our icky. Only nice interaction was the first time I went in dressed up in festive game/Halloween wear 2 guys passing through from England loved it and a couple at the bar let me kiss the 75yr. old Birthday boy with a kiss on the cheek… we came in for a quick beer at half time at the soccer game… the next 2 times we went in after the game and made us sure we won’t be back. It’s too bad they don’t support Yavapai sports games as it’s right across the street and would be great to go in to celebrate or grieve the game… but our money is better spent else where… the people are too creepy or too busy eating pizza at the end of the bar to give quick service or even a Hello-be right with you. I hope they sell it to someone who is willing to make it a great stop… knowing the crowd it must be a write off for someone.
