I haven’t been in for services, but I LOVE the product Shea What. Their skin cream is amazing! My favorite is the Earl Grey. It smells great and helps keep my hands happy after washing them often. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend!

Love, love, love this place and even though this location is close, they are expanding their availability in their other location in Williams. It has been convenient for me because I get to run other errands in the area. This place has been my best waxing experience for the last 2 years!
When I first started coming they answer all my questions without hesitation in regards to waxing and they calmed my fears.

Julia is amazing! Just moved from Chicago tried other places before here and I am so happy to have found this gem! Great service and experience. Julia is the best my eyebrows look great.

I don’t usually post Unilocal reviews but my experience here has been uniquely shitty.
I used to go to the Wax On Spa on Williams and absolutely loved it. Service was great and I was always happy. Then I moved to SE and started going to this one and it all went downhill. The first time I went in for a bikini wax, the woman had barely waxed anything off and when I asked if she could take more off she said «nah you’re fine.» I didn’t push it any further and thought it was a fluke and I decided to give them another chance a couple months later. I spoke to another woman on the phone I explained to her what happened last time and she ensured me that wouldn’t happen again. Then when I came in she left tons of hairs after the bikini wax and then charged me $ 10 more than I had paid in the past. Not to mention, there was a whole debacle where they kept getting my appointment date wrong and calling me repeatedly. The whole thing was absolutely absurd and I’m usually pretty understanding that people can have off days but after multiple shitty experiences I won’t be back.

I started going to Waxon in Seattle around 2002 until 2012 when I moved to NYC. Having returned to the Pacific NW I’ve been getting waxed by this location for 6 months. The service has definitely gotten worse and inconsistent. One of the waxers regularly finishes early and leaves deposits of wax on my body in uncomfortable places. One time it turned out she hadn’t actually completed my Brazilian leaving me with wads of sticky wax embedded in my pubic hair in a particularly sensitive area. The remaining patch was uneven and askew. I did finally find a decent waxer who works there and continued to go because she was nice, even though the quality of the waxing was not nearly as thorough as a place I went in NYC (and costs twice as much here as what I paid there). A good Brazilian means no hairs are left. It means you should be tweezed if there is stubble. I also have noticed that the hairs are not being pulled by the root but actually broken off. I just went and my usual gal was not there so I had another sloppy experience including wax that was way to hot, sticky butt cheeks, and wax under my feet, just to name a few problems. All of that being said, the facilities are nice and they are very sterile and clean (as on don’t reuse stuff they shouldn’t). Unfortunately after 10 years of patronage, it’s time to move on.

I went to Wax On for 7 years, enjoying ChrystAnn and Jevon’s great work the whole time. When suddenly they were gone, the replacement just didn’t have their experience and thus their skills. I found myself a sticky mess afterwards, and the bedside manner wasn’t actively bad, but it was just completely missing. Luckily I found a new spot that was better for boyzilian service, and now heartily recommend Urban Waxx.

Great staff, comfortable setting, and quality work. I highly recommend. Just had an appointment with Lulia and she did a great job!
I have been coming here for years and it has always been a pleasant experience.

When I pay $ 15 plus tip to get my lip waxed, I expect that all the hair will be gone. It wasn’t and I returned home to finish the job myself. The service I’ve received here on multiple occasions has not been thorough. The shop is nice, they take walkins which is convenient, but I probably won’t return if I can help it.

First time ever being waxed. I have wanted to get a Brazilian for a long time now but have heard so many horror stories that I was not willing to settle. Wax on is pretty close to my house and got awesome reviews. I just got out of my appointment (Brazilian/​half leg) and I couldn’t feel better. I was totally comfortable! Great and clean place, awesome staff!

Marina should be your go to here for fast, thorough, and relatively painless waxing! I’ve been a client at this location for years and am consistently happy with the service and cleanliness, particularly from Marina. I always recommend her and Wax On to my friends and will continue to do so.

Just in town for the week and so glad I found this place! Quick, Comfortable and Lulia was amazing and sweet! Going back for a facial later this afternoon! Must check them out in Seattle when I get home as they have several locations all around the PNW.

I got a Brazilian wax from Iulia here and it was perfect! I had no ingrown hairs after, it was practically painless and she she left my skin feeing soft, and the hair didn’t grow back for weeks. I never broke out after, and she got literally every hair. This is the best Brazilian wax experience I ever had. The salon is super clean and Iulia did an AMAZING job ¹⁰⁄₁₀ recommend!

This was hands down the worst experience I have every had in my entire life and i want to world to know and to stay away from this wretched place! I went here to get my eyebrows waxed as its close to my office and my regular gal at Studio Luxe (the best in my opinion) was out of town. I wish I could post what my eyebrows looked like before and after. I literally cried and yelled at Lulia the gal that waxed me. I told her that I like my eyebrows thick and so I asked her to just clean up the grow out. simple. I have great eyebrows, they are easy. she completely FU%$!ed them up. They are both about half the size that they were and one is like cut off almost halfway across my eye!!! Its horrific! I told her that I was not happy and that this is not what I asked her to do and she started to try to convince me that what I was seeing was actually the reality and then literally took out a ruler to try and convince me that the eye where she cut off the brows super short was actually exactly where it should be. It was bizarre and so unprofessional!!! Then she had the balls to charge me! I started crying and telling her how disappointed I was. It took me years to grow my eye brows out the way I wanted and I loved them. I am not a vein person but this was just too much. They are terrible. I don’t think she knew what she was doing and I agree with all the other posts that this place used to be great. She was the only person there and it was super dingy. It didn’t used to be like that. Lulia is by far the worst. I called the manager and left a message. Its been 5 days. No return call. Stay away from this place!!!

The last time I went to Wax On was over a year ago. I went again this week and was genuinely surprised by how dramatically the quality of service has plunged.
No one returned any of my phone calls or voice messages. I had to call repeatedly in order to speak to a human. Only one employee there, and she mentioned that she had only moved to Oregon in the past few months. She left the curtain open for our entire service (!!!) and did not do a good job. In addition, since it was completely quiet and empty the only sound was Blink-​182 blasting from the bar next door.
Also, their signature touch of alcoholic beverages available has been replaced by jelly beans. I don’t drink, but that seems like a rather huge shift in hospitality!
Reading the other Unilocal reviews here it appears that major management shenanigans have occurred with massive employee turnover and cut corners. I wonder how long they are locked in to that lease on such prime real estate on Burnside. I hope that the waxers who all used to work here have landed safely at other businesses that treat them well, because I felt super bad for the hapless esthetician who was working at this shell of former glory.

Evidently my vivid imagination must have come up with the conversation I thought I had with Sarah. In the conversation I remember, there was no denial of the audio recording, rather an assurance that it was only at the reception desk utilized to monitor the employees. Hmph, color me crazy! WoW, I feel silly!

Totally disgusted by the fact that they have this new camera system that records your audio! Excuse me?! No waiver, nobody let me know this! I don’t want you recording me while I am getting a Brazilian and likely copying the sounds for Vine. No thank you!
This place is crumbling without Jevon, she was amazing and made the experience almost 100% pain and nervous free. My boyfriend and I both got waxed by her and now that she’s gone there’s no one to do a Male Brazilian! The newer staff, just don’t measure up and I’m not certain they know what’s what.
Their prices continue to rise and for what?
I used to absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place but with all the consistent bad changes I finally gave up and just found a new spa.

I highly recommend Susan to everyone I love, who needs waxing. She is professional, fun to talk to, and very thorough at her job. It isn’t easy to make a procedure such as a Brazilian wax fun, but she is definitely great at putting you at ease during the entire process. The prices here are a little higher than most places, but I don’t mind paying more to know that it is going to be quick, nearly painless, and a job well done. If you’re looking for the perfect Brazilian, look no further.

Came back to Wax On on Williams. Laurie was really quick and did a great job. She is so funny and made me feel really comfortable. I really hate getting waxed but she made the time fly. This time I asked not to do the b-​hole and she asked plenty of questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Also she did my stomach for no extra charge! I was apprehensive about doing my own clean up again but she was very thorough and I didn’t end up having little hairs all over my hands at the end this time. not sure I am welcome back there since I have given away my identity, but I’d go back and recommend Laurie at Wax On to anyone!

Well, last week was the first time I’ve ever got to get waxed. Oh my! The gal that did it was amazing! I was a little freaked out by the fact that I was only behind a gigantic curtain but I got over that fast. The lady was amazing! She was straight forward and did this funny legging slapping thing after she ripped out a large patch of hair. I guess she was trying to distract me for the discomfort that is having hundreds of hairs ripped out simultaneously.
I also must mention that these guys are really reasonable. I’ve never tried waxing before because everywhere I’ve seen advertised was expensive. These guys are the best in terms of cost and service. They’ve won me over for sure!

I’ve had a few decent waxes here — but I’m sorry, strip waxing is NOT for Brazilians. It just isn’t. I kept trying, I kept getting ingrown hairs (despite using their products), and smearing oily cream on afterward doesn’t help either. I don’t see why salons still use that archaic (and painful) wax for the sensitive (aka: girlie parts) areas. They tried to convince me (despite my previous experiences in other states and world-​class spas) that it was the way to go… it isn’t.
I also don’t quite get the «curtain» approach, with paper clips for your privacy. Sorry — but I just don’t like the thought of sprawling my business on a table, and the possibility of someone seeing me in that oh-​so-​attractive [not] pose.
I figure it like this, I’m paying $ 50+for literally a 10-​minute service (I’m just not the hairiest person). I guess I’d like something with a little more class, that felt cleaner and a bit more sterile… and private. Just sayin’.
