Todd Hammer cut my 2 year old son’s hair. He had thick, long, somewhat curly hair and Todd made it look awesome. And he was great with my son who is still talking about Todd Hammer who cut his hair. Todd also cut my hair. All I needed was a trim but it seriously looks amazing and I love the cut. We’ll be back!

Todd Hammer is the only name you need to know in hair. He has been cutting my hair for 8 years and it’s always been amazing. I currently figuring out how to stop Todd from aging so he can cut my hair well into my 80’s.

I’ve been getting my hair cut at a wide assortment of places for the last thirty years and I was always generally happy with those cuts. Then I met Todd Hammer and everything changed. Now I’m always thrilled with my haircut. Not only that, I’m guaranteed to get at least a dozen hair-​related compliments in the days after my cut. Seriously. Todd Hammer has given me the best haircuts of my life. He takes his time and make sure that every last hair is in its place. And he’s a delight to spend time with too. If I ever move away from Portland I’ll still fly back so that Todd can cut my hair.

Hammer has been cutting my hair for over 7 years. I’m male and wear my hair longer than average. As a business consultant, I need to keep my image sharp even though the standard business cut has no appeal to me. With Hammer I always get a great style, the look I want, and a consistent cut. Highly recommended for men who want to look their best while keeping their own look.

Todd Hammer is a hair guru. He knows exactly what to do to make me look my best. I walk in the salon a weary mother of two and walk out feeling like a rock star. He has a gift for getting color just right and he has very reasonable rates (I paid 3x as much in LA). On top of it all, he’s a down to earth guy who always makes me laugh. Added bonus: the salon is right above Barista in the Pearl District. It doesn’t get much better than sipping on one of the best cappuccinos in the city and chatting with Hammer while he works his magic. Love him.
