The Roaming Studio offers live, private online art lessons every day, using Skype, with a professional artist, anywhere you live in the world.

We also offer Portland area art classes, including a weekly afterschool art atelier for children and teens (ages 8 – 17), on Wednesdays in Southeast Portland, and a Drink and Draw session that roams Portland and Lake Oswego for adults 1 – 2 Fridays each month.

History

Established in 2008.

I’m an artist and art teacher who has lived, studied painting and taught art all around the world. I helped found an English language art school in Budapest, Hungary, before founding The Roaming Studio in 2008, when I moved to Yerevan, Armenia. It moved with me to Zagreb, Croatia, Brooklyn, New York and finally Portland, Oregon in 2012.

Two years ago, I added two other art teachers, one in Brooklyn, the other in Yerevan, Armenia, and we all offer live, private art lessons via Skype. These lessons can be taken from anywhere in the world, and your teacher will create a custom-​designed art education program for you, geared to your interests, and meet with you weekly for live lessons via Skype. My students LOVE this service, living as far away as Nairobi Kenya, as close as Lake Oswego, Oregon, and range in age from 7 to 47!
