Based in Portland, Oregon, we make Shurky Jurky from scratch using real fruit and without any refined sugars, additives or preservatives. Shurky Jurky is painstakingly crafted entirely with locally grown and sourced products. We have been making natural, artisanally-​crafted beef, pork, and turkey Shurky Jurky utilizing our proprietary recipe and specialty process since our company’s inception in NYC in March 2010. Outdoor recreationalists, performance athletes, craft-​beer lovers, and health food enthusiasts have embraced Shurky Jurky as a delicious alternative to mainstream market jerky which leaves much to be desired.

Business Owner

Mike is the Founder & CEO of Shurky Jurky. A former investment banker and Queens, NYC native, Mike thrives under challenge and found his passion in jerky. Mike and his wife Megan relocated Shurky Jurky to beautiful Portland, OR for it’s outdoor appeal, food culture and entrepreneurial spirit.

When not busy perfecting the craft, he likes to enjoy sauerkraut, paleo donuts and great coffee. And when not exercising his doughnut addiction, Mike loves to inspire greatness in others by helping them reach their true potential. Mike aspires to hike Machu Picchu with Megan.
