This store feels like a high-​end boutique — excellent quality clothing and superior customer service. All of the consigned pieces are in like-​new condition and the sales people are very helpful and friendly. Prices are excellent for such great pieces.
Definitely a highlight of my trip to Portland.

Super hit or miss (which can be expected with re-​sale) but always fun to look around when I’m in the mood for it. I’ve shopped here for over 5 years now, and have some really solid pieces from them (mainly shoes). I definitely recommend this place to people, although I do have to agree with many of the reviewers on here that find the staff to be aloof. I usually don’t mind it (only because I’m used to it by now).
In a nut shell: great place if you’re in the mood for ‘searching’ for that special piece.

I have shopped and sold here several times over the last few months. While there are some interesting and cute items if you care to hunt, I am so uncomfortable when I am in here that I doubt I will go back anymore. No one greets you, and when you do have to interact with an employee, the pretentious attitude is incredible. I know you are selling Prada, but for heaven’s sake, it is used. No need to be so high and mighty.

My friends and I just happened on upon this place and thought we’d died and gone to Heaven. Great selection of items (including shoes and bags) in really good condition (some with tags). The space is big and well-​organized. The service is also very good. Wish I had a p[lace like this to go to in SF.

Have to agree, sadly, with the other negative reviews. They are singularly unfriendly here. I live in the neighborhood and drop by every few weeks, and it’s now amusing to see how long it takes before anyone looks up to say hello — and forget anyone offering to help. Particularly unusual for Portland, which is a very friendly place. Still, they’re better than their associated furniture store, next door, where no one ever speaks to customers. Overall, very sour places. It’s too bad — some of their clothes are cute — but not worth the unpleasantness.

I’ve been a shopper and a consigner here for several years. I’ve sent people here and they’ve been thrilled with the selection. The women who run this shop are ethical and conscientious, which I love. The clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories are in perfect condition and the prices are usually pretty good. I’ve bought some treasures here. I’ve also come in with my various mistakes, and IF they’re utterly flawless they will usually take them on consignment and sell them. Ten points: they send you your check; you do not have to hound them for the money, as you must do in less scrupulous consignment shops. A wonderful place.

Seams to fit. I have been to this shop numerous times but this last time will
probably be my last.
DO YOUR HOMEWORK before going into a consignment store. I paid good money
on a high end item only to find out that the item is a replica. I was HEARTBROKEN. The price tag on the item I felt represented the item as a discounted high end item, so naturally didn’t think twice before buying. FAKE, FAKE, FAKE!!! I can’t stand FAKES!

I have always liked Seams to Fit. They have good curators for high end fashion — really high end to just plain high end. They often have great jewelry and the occasional amazing deal on Cydwoq shoes and such. The prices are too high — in bigger cities, prices are lower to compete with the sales of the designers, but it is nice to have this store in Portland.
I will say, though, that I really hate their new store. The old store was cozy and well lit, with a sweet little upstairs area for the less high end designers. The new store is trying too hard to be Soho and instead ends up feeling like a panopticon. The staff is at a desk in the center and it just feels bizarre now, like you are shopping in a warehouse under the eye of God. In fact, I’m afraid it’s SO unpleasant that I won’t be back for a while.

After reading the reviews I thought I’d love this place. There were only a couple people shopping when I dropped by, but the ladies working didn’t even greet me. It’s a pet peeve of mine, I feel especially in a small privately owned shop, if you don’t acknowledge someones presence, it’s just rude…
The designer items are a focal point, but I’ve seen the same items at discount stores for half the price they mark them as. So perhaps for the very rare gem you won’t find at discount stores, $ 50 for a used pair of jeans doesn’t bother you.
But I found the selection in everything lacking. Very few items to choose from. Very few items in my size (I’m small). I couldn’t even find shoes in my size (6 ½, not that rare of a size).
I can tell they only choose items they would wear. Everything in the shop is definitely of a certain style. It’s like they have a shop tailored for their specific tastes, with very few items, in very few small sizes, so that other women who dress just like them and are their size can shop their «closet» essentially. That’s exactly what this place feels like.
I love to shop and I have a very open style, so it says a lot when I can’t even find one thing to buy.

One of the best high-​end consignment shops I’ve been to, and that includes shops in New York City and the French Riviera. The pieces they choose are absolutely gorgeous, and in mint condition, and there is a wide range of textiles, styles and sizes. Chanel, Prada, Chloe, Louis Vuitton — all the big names. They also have a blog where you can see the latest acquisitions. A must-​shop for fashion lovers.

Great selection of high-​end clothing and accessories, fair prices, and the inventory is always immaculate and beautifully organized. Consigning here is a pleasure; the staff is friendly and professional, and I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes for them to go through the items I bring in.

This is a fabulous high-​end clothing consignment shop. Their items they sell are impeccable. They carry a gorgeous collection of dresses and purses as well as jeans, shirts and shoes. The shoe collection was a little bit of a let down, but that didn’t surprise me. Shoes are hard to keep in great condition and I have larger than normal feet so my options are always limited.
Pricing is not cheap but definitely at a significant savings from purchasing the same pieces brand-​new. Don’t come here expecting some thing like The Buffalo Exchange. The two shops shouldn’t even be compared. Seams to Fit is all about quality and designer pieces. Go here for those long-​lasting, well-​fitted, beautiful pieces you will wear time and time again.

This is the BEST consignment store I’ve been to. Most of the time, the clothing and purses look brand new — the shoes look a bit more used, but that’s to be expected. This is the consignment store to go to in PDX if you’re a designer fanatic or love a great deal. They have two sales per year that women line up outside the door to go to. What a treasure this store is!

A lovely store in a great location right off of NW 23^rd. I always come here with my mom when we visit. They have a vast array of beautiful, gently used high end clothing, in a variety of styles and sizes.
The store is very well-​kept and the management is very friendly. This truly is a place worth checking out if you like consignment clothing stores.

Gently used designer clothing is what you will find at Seams to Fit. The owner just remodeled the building, so the space is brand spankin’ new and makes for a delightful place to spend time browsing for a good deal or two!
