The worst! We paid them over 1k to fix a plumbing issue that they never fixed. We paid them hourly to dink around trying to figure it out. They replaced things that did not need replacing only to bump up the price. They pretended to care about resolving the issue but really they only «cared» about upping the hourly. They installed a water heater that still doesn’t work right after 2 years of fiddling with it. I feel like I’ve paid students to check out a problem without knowing how to fix it. We still don’t have decent water to the shower or kitchen sink. I don’t know if they’re playing dumb or are really inept but I would never trust this company again to do anything. I wouldn’t trust them to replace a washer on a faucet! THOUSANDS we paid and our problem is still there. It just might be worse. BUYER BEWARE!

I had a simple DIY repair on the porcelain throne in the water closet. The grommets I needed for the American Standard throne were not stocked in the local Pearl Hardware store. I headed up to 22^nd/​NW Raleigh in the Alphabet District. Morlan stocked the right parts. Did my DIY – calling a plumber would have cost me a few happy hours! Morgan stocks lots of parts for just about any bath/​kitchen plumbing repair.
Since it was my first time at Morlan, I discovered an incredible show room, with displays of all the major name brands of plumbing fixtures and accessories for remodeling bathrooms and kitchens. Who knew? Morlan is on 22^nd between the best known Alphabet District walking streets 21^st and 23^rd. So you may never see this place.
If your throne needs parts or you want to overhaul the water closet or a kitchen, check out this place to get some ideas. They also sell water heaters.
I noticed other reviewers squawked the service. I saw Sales helping customers. I walked up to the desk of a Sales person who looked up my part on a computer, went into the store room and was back in a few minutes with my parts. Fast & efficient & friendly! I will go back!

We had a bit of an adventure getting here today. The bathtub/​shower handles in one of our units was stripped and couldn’t shut off. Ron got into the crawl space, turned off the water in the unit, and took everything apart. It didn’t need just new handles, but also the splines the handles were attached to. We tried Ferguson Plumbing, a major plumbing resource store, but they had nothing we needed.
Oh no. What now? Geo Morlan, of course, but the only store Ron knew of was the flagship store on Foster. Oh frickin’ no again. This means I5 and I-​84 on Friday afternoon at 2pm. Well it has to be done, so off we crawl (literally). As we get close to the 405 split, something nagged at the back of my mind; «wait a minute, there’s one in the Alphabet District.». Ron says, «get going, girl, on Unilocal and get that address.» Just in time I found it and we beat a path there. Phew!
I’m not sure, but we may hold the world land-​speed plumbing record. Two plumbing stores, I-​5 to 405, Alphabet District back to St. Johns, and job done perfectly in about 2.5 hours. Thanks to Geo Morlan and their great staff for the fast knowledgeable help and to Unilocal for having all the info. You all saved my resident a high water bill and let them have full use of their shower and tub. Now that’s what I call good clean fun!

This is the place to go if you want to be ignored. I’m remodeling a bathroom and went to find fixtures. I was there for twenty minutes and no one so much as said hello much less asked if I needed help. Two sales people were helping other customers and two others were just hanging around. If this is the service they provide, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Terrible customer service!
Around the July 4^th holiday, we dealt with a fairly young sales clerk at the NW Raleigh location that had so much attitude, it was offensive. She sold us an appliance at the sale price and then, after ringing it up, told us that she could no longer honor the sales price because her computer wouldn’t make the adjustment. When we asked her to talk to her manager, she mumbled some excuse and told us to take it or leave it.
So two complaints: 1) Do a better job of screening your sales people to make sure they are skilled in customer service. (To be fair, I did not interact with your other sales clerks, so can’t comment, but the one we had was so bad, she will keep us from going back) and 2) Why mislead customers with a sale price if your sales clerk isn’t going to honor it…

when you get the feeling you are only a welcome customer when you spend 1000 $ or more than this business is not getting my approval. Wanted to take advantage of the spring sale, I am on a budget, but felt not being treated well. I have had much nicer experiences at Home Depot

Initially, we had a seemingly good customer service experience. Shortly thereafter things went south. They told us they’d get our order to us by a certain date – it wasn’t delivered on time. We had to hound them to stay on top of things.
Making matters worse, we were told that we could return any item we wanted provided we had the receipt. I specifically said, «Any item?» and the sale’s person replied, «Yes». FALSE. We went to take a shower head back and we were told they don’t take back special items. They called the boss, and he told us he’d take the item back for a 25% stocking fee.
If micromanaging people is your thing, and if you like to pay more for what you could get elsewhere for cheaper, then George Morlan Plumbing may be the place for you.

I’ve visited this store more than a handful of times & always the same LACK of service. Yesterday, it was our great displeasure to be assisted NOT by J.G. She was unkind and downright rude! She speaks so softly one cannot hear her, but when asked to repeat, she comes back with a rude comment. I thought it was just me, but when I asked around, the main comment was, «isn’t it weird how they can pretend you are not there & carry on with other things?» Yup, they answer the phones & look at their computers, but totally ignore customers standing in front of them. Well, that’s it for me! We’ll drive out of our way to go somewhere where they appreciate paying customers! Or, maybe I’ll open a plumbing store next door to them & get rich on the folks that can’t get help at George Morlan! Or should that be Moron!

I recently had a really great experience at George Morlan. I found a kitchen faucet online but wanted to see it in person. Luckily they had the model there in there showroom and it was perfect. I bought it on the spot and they even matched the lower price i saw online. They seemed to be having some wine and cheese store event but I was still attended to and felt like all my questions were answered. The customer service was exceptional. They even recommended a great plumber who came the veery next morning to install it. Overall it worked out great and I would definitely go back for my future plumbing needs.

The place is beautiful and well appointed. You will pay dearly for products you can find cheaper elsewhere. Our experience is they don’t get orders right and after waiting for months for your products, you find they have made a mistake, which in turn takes months more to fix.
Find what you like and go online, you’ll get your items faster and cheaper too.

ok, i’ve only have had phone interactions from the design department here, but my god, they are scrambled. they ended up ordering the wrong commercial toilet seat for me twice and never let me know that the item had actually arrived. i had to call, and call back a number of times to actually get someone to give me the time of day– poor customer service– and then find out that it was waiting at the foster road store. luckily that was close by for me and Gavin at that store ended up saving the day and sorting everything out. all it took was some open ears and understanding to see what the problem was. im sure not the complete pictur enough of a glimpse for me to attain help next time at the more capable brother entity.

4 stars for having them low flow shower heads for 10 bucks! well not really it’s for the patience to deal with me and my stupid questions on replacing it. Who knew it was so easy?
This place is nice, huge selection and plenty of people who are helpful. Why not the 5^th star? It not be this places fault but maybe that is what going rate is for faucets sinks showerheads and stuff but all the other stuff was so dam pricy.
