Specialties

Rock n Roll Recital is a program for guitar and bass players as well as vocalists who are 8 – 16 years old and have at least 6 – 12 months experience playing their instrument. Our goal is to teach participants to play music together independently and to function in a band. Each program consists of 12 – 16 band members (3 – 4 bands). Our team is highly qualified and consists of 2 band coaches that are Oregon certified teachers, a workshop instructor with 8 years of experience and a recording engineer /​media specialist with 10 years of experience. It takes an equally talented teacher and musician to lead a group of children through the maze of learning to play. Jake Cline has it.
Jake and his team bring their passion and experience and turn the rock camp experience into a custom and empowering week for kids. From live performance to learning to play a song together, kids get to practice their strengths and grow confidence in their weak points in small, hands-​on groups.
I recommend Jake’s teaching to any parent looking for a unique, wholesome and authentic introduction to playing in a rock band for their kids.
