Nice guys and good work. They came on short notice and even were able to get over a bit early.
Rates were reasonable as well, I’m glad I was able to get such great service from a local company.

I had Robert come out and give me an estimate a re-​piping job that i needed to have done. It is a tough thing to get estimates for things. I don’t make a lot of money and every dollar counts. I hate though that someone won’t get the job. I’ve learned it really makes a difference though in my case, and I usually never regret it. In this case I wanted to see how my normal plumber priced out with others. Robert dropped by on Saturday and was very nice and gave me a quote before he left. I definitely gave it some serious consideration. It was definitely lower than my normal plumber’s quote! The difference was great… and so I definitely asked my plumber about why the difference. I trust my plumber as he has done work for me before and has always been thorough, detailed, and has done honest good work. I think the reason I overall didn’t go with the bid from Puddletown was that I didn’t get nearly the level of detail of the work to be done as i did from my normal plumber. I didn’t get the thoroughness that I really had come to like from my normal plumber. In talking to Puddletown about it Robert was very professional, reasonable, and understanding and addressed my issues. I really appreciated his time and I wasn’t just jerking him around. It did make me double check my plumber, who did end up closely matching the bid to keep my business. So, getting other bids do help, but I feel bad in this case when it did seem like Puddletown would have been a great choice as well. The 3^rd bid that I eventually got was really high and didn’t even consider. So, the very least that i could do is give Robert and Puddletown a POSITIVE review! I would go back to them and use them at some point. I have nothing against them at all. Thank you very much!

The rates were reasonable and they actually came early. I was happy at how professional and quick they were in installing my shower and sink plumbing. I will definitely use them again in the future.

So I’ve attempted to use them twice. The first time they scheduled me one day, but called to let me know they couldn’t make it because they were busy with another customer. Okay. They came the next day. They fixed what was malfunctioning to my satisfaction. So this week I needed them again, and they did the same thing again, but this time I had rearranged my schedule to accommodate them, to which the woman replied,‘Well, sometimes these things happen’. Not sometimes — every time. I’m sorry, but I will not recommend them, whether they do good plumbing or not; it’s not good if they can’t schedule customers with the customer in mind.

The work was done and its done well. When you tell someone your going to come back and dont and i call you and you figure its not worth your time i cant support you anymore. I also got the same rubbish regarding calender issues. I like small companies but i dont want to be treated like im small, im 6’3.

Reasonable Rates, good work, honest answers. Rob is a great guy and I’ve recommended his services to all of my new home owning friends. I hope he’s in business for another 20 years, because I don’t want to call anyone else!

I recently called Puddletown with a plumbing semi-​emergency and they got back in touch with me superfast, with an early availability. They also followed up carefully in e-​mail and on the phone, though not in an obnoxious stalky way — more in a «Hey, we hear you have an emergency» way. I ended up using a different plumber because that plumber had been recommended to me by errybody, but if not for those recommendations, Puddletown would have been an obvious choice.

Called and got an appointment. .long wait. that’s ok. Took the day off work (no pay) and waited. Two hours after appointment time I sent an email. .where are you? Got a reply that the schedule had been messed up and they weren’t coming. They offered me an appointment 10 days later. No discount or offer to be right out. I was disappointed, a day poorer, and still had a plumming issue.

Robert gave a very reasonable estimate for a relatively simple task, lower than most plumbers charge for just coming out. He came in and got it done quickly and professionally. When it was time for the payment, he asked for significantly less than his bid. Can’t argue with that! He seemed competent, honest, and friendly. From my experience I’d recommend him highly.

I was recommended Puddletown through a school list serve and I’m so happy to have found these guys. Great job and extremely good pricing when they could have easily gouged me.

This place is down the street from me, so I gave them a call when my kitchen faucet was leaking (my laundry hoses were also leaking, so it was time…). Robert came out promptly, and humored me as I found other stuff for him to look at (bathroom plumbing that’s a little weird, etc.). Total price for fixing a bunch of half-​broken things? Just about a hundred bucks. I’m a happy camper.
My favorite thing about Robert’s service is that he talked me out of doing more expensive stuff that wasn’t necessary. He took a look at my bathroom plumbing and basically said if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. A really nice experience, and good to know I have a neighborhood plumber (finally).

My kitchen sink sprung a leak, and based on the good reviews and close proximity, I decided to give Puddletown a call, asking for their help. two weeks have gone by, and they haven’t even bother to return my call. If you are too busy to take a job, that’s fine, but at least have the curtsy of returning the calls of prospective clients and letting them know.

If I have a plumbing issue Robert takes away the stress. No fuss, no muss, he makes it all better and I’m happy again. Hard to believe he’s real. THANKS ROB.

Robert actually arrived early and called first to ask if that was okay. He had given a good ballpark estimate on Friday and came today, Monday. So, we didn’t have to wait very long to get our new kitchen faucet installed. His estimate came in lower than another company we called. It was very reasonable, and he disposed of the old faucet and lines for us, leaving no mess under the sink. The faucet works perfectly. Great job; we are very satisfied and will call him again and recommend him to others.

This plumber is so freakin awesome I don’t want to write a review, because he will get even more booked up. Ah well.

My bathroom tub was clogged. Rob not only fixed the tub, he replaced the shower head and replaced my kitchen faucet (it really needed to be replaced!)
He went above and beyond what I had initially called him for. Thanks Rob, job well done!

Rob rocks. My kitchen sink was leaking water all weekend. After tinkering and making the problem worse I looked on Unilocal and decided to call Rob. I’m glad I did: He stopped by my house the next day, fixed the problem within two minutes and didn’t charge a dime. (Because it was such a simple fix and he was already in the neighborhood.) I’ll be calling Rob with all of my future plumbing problems. I highly recommend Puddletown Plumbing.
