Stopped by the storefront while on vacation from Maine. I was in need of new camping gear and wanted to support Poler– big fan of their Instagram and«Adventure» series. I met Michael and Nate who’s the lengthy guy who looks like Christopher Walken. I bought a backpack, tent and floral printed Stance Socks because I love floral socks.

Camp vibes! Great aesthetic with wonderful installations. I wish I could buy up the whole store, but I’ll just settle for a sleeping bag hoodie. Their clothing is rad and they have mad patches

Over priced and cheaply made camping gear and backpacks for hippy and city campers… One of the most ridiculous stores ive ever been in

Cool stuff for cool people who camp and solid customer service. Initially, I was frustrated that I couldn’t return an item bought online in store. After offering feedback on this policy, they changed their tune. Absolutely love their Poler x Airblaster Ninja Suit. Thanks Poler!

This place is dope. I took a picture of their sunglasses display because it was beautiful and that’s how I live! I bought a beanie from there that I love. It makes my hair look nice. Also, when I bought it I worked«I was worried this was one of those interactive art pieces» into the convo because I say the weirdest stuff to people. That is my greatest life accomplishment.

This is a trendy newer shop, the building looked empty for years, now if a shop closes it fills fast. My first thought when I walked in was it looked rustic. That was followed by «this is where the 25 – 35 year old guys get their cloths. You know the ones that look like they are about to go for a hike? When we got looking at the stuff they have some really cool stuff. I bought a battery powered lamp with some nice features(you never know when the power will go out, useful other times to…). They have all kinds of stuff for camping. I doubt I will do alot of shopping here, but I will be back, those lamps would make good gifts and I got the last one in stock… for me.

They have some really interesting and stylish camping/hiking/outdoor gear. The store is very comfortable to be in and the clothes and gear are easy to get to. The staff is super friendly and when we started discussing music genres they changed their pandora station to SRV for us while we were there! We didn’t purchase anything at this visit, but if you are looking for different options that what you usually see from outdoor retailers, this is a great place to start!

Overpriced, pretend camping gear for hipster manchildren who want to buy an ax to match their slumberparty kit. Or something. Very well curated, but the employees and people shopping there are positively awful if you don’t read as their target demographic. I tried. I really did. It’s a bummer because Poler had a really great vision in the beginning, but now it’s all about brand identity masquerading as local on products mostly made in Asia.

The other day I met two very awesome, rugged and stylish friends for the afternoon. To our surprise, between the three of us we were wearing one pair of Poler pants, one Poler shirt, two Poler hats and carrying two Poler backpacks. But why wouldn’t we? Poler is just as awesome, rugged and stylish as we are! While I will hike and putz around in nature with the best of them, I’m probably more lumbersexual than lumberjack, and as a result Poler is probably just my speed. I get a sense that it’s a bit more style over substance, but damn if it isn’t stylish. Their vests and jackets would keep you warm and their outdoors accessories would do the job that they set out to do, but I don’t think this is the first place I’d go to get a tent or sleeping bag. The store is designed and merchandised incredibly well, and it’s a fun environment in which to shop. The staff is friendly and everybody and everything within these four walls has an aesthetic that I appreciate. Poler probably won’t meet the needs of somebody trying to go on a multi-day hiking excursion, but if you want to just stay warm and dry on the trail — and look awesome while doing it — then Poler Outdoor Stuff is A-OK.

Went in to check this place out today. Have to say, not overly impressed. The stuff is wildly overpriced. Sleeping bags for $ 120 that are not even very thick, and will get filthy the moment you take it outside. Things have an outdoorsy appearance but would not actually hold up if you took them outside.
