I hurt my lower back Oct. 2015 and saw Emily Ohlin for treatment. I highly recommend Emily for any physical therapy needs, her priority is to get you active as soon as possible.

It sucks getting injured. It was such a relief when I went in for help because they knew exactly what to do. Not only did they help me get back to running but they helped keep me injury free. I love that they have a chiropractor, physical therapist, massage therapists, and personal trainers all under one roof!

After eight months of debilitating sciatic pain and countless visits from various other therapists, I was finally referred to Stefan. He was magical! Despite an overwhelmingly impressive biography, he remains attentive and compassionate in his treatment of regular Jane Doe’s like myself. In under five minutes he was able to relieve pain that countless others were unable to even explain! That horrifying shooting nerve sensation has been gone since– this is my new home for relief. On a side note, just from knowing my profession he predicted/​treated other areas that have been plaguing me and took the time to demonstrate various exercises to help stabilize and heal my body for long term strength (and ultimately the cure for what initially causes the pain). If nothing else, listening to Stefan’s delightful Austrian accent is definitely worth trying this place out. :)

I had been experiencing some moderate back and hip pain so I decided to shop around for a chiropractor that both professional and effective yet also affordable. My work insurance has a high deductible so affordability was a huge requirement for me. After shopping around a bit, I found Kinetic through a provider directory, and after checking on Unilocal and google reviews, I was certain Kinetic would not disappoint.
I met with Alex for my appointment only a few days after I called, and after a quick review of my symptoms, he started to work his magic. He quickly assessed my pain, range of motion, and addressed my issue with a healthy dose of badly needed deep-​tissue massage and joint manipulation.
I had not received an adjustment in years so there was some serious relief afterwards.

I am an amateur aerialist and I have been increasing my workout/​conditioning over the last six months and, wouldn’t you know it, have sustained more injuries/​strains as a result of it.
Drew was recommended to me by a fellow trapeze artist as someone who understood our specific athletic injuries and difficulties and valued functionality and strength over a quick fix. I went to Drew because I had a suspected rib dislocation (it was, and I had endured unnecessary back pain for 3 weeks). In 30 minutes, he had assessed me, gotten a feel for where I was flexibility and strength wise (at baseline), pretzel folded me 3 times to reset my ribs and adjust my mid back, and then showed me exercises and stretches to decrease my likelihood of repeat dislocation.
Today I went to him for nagging, slowly increasing shoulder pain. After assessing my range of motion and where/​what hurt, Drew went to town on my shoulder, massaging, re-​positioning, stretching it. That was one of the more painful 20 minutes of my life, but you know what? No more shoulder pain! He would work on it, stop, have me use it to see how it was doing, where/​if there was any improve me &what still hurt, then we’d do something else. And at the end of it, he gave me great exercises/​stretches to work on so that this doesn’t happen again.
Someone else said not every chiropractor is for everyone and that is certainly true, but Drew is definitely the one for me. I feel cared for in a competent, holistic way by someone who understands how precious functionality is. I cannot recommend this polite, fun, and competent man enough!

I am so glad I went to that dental hygiene meeting when Mark Erickson was the guest speaker. as I had no clue who to see about my wrists, thumbs and arms. He performed a miracle; I thought I was destined for a career change due to acute swelling in my thumbs and numbness down my arms caused by the static position I assume for my work. After 1 appointment, the swelling in my thumbs was gone. I have seen him 4 times now and will continue to see him as the best insurance for maintaining a long pain free and healthy career.

After trying out a few different chiropractors, with mixed results, someone recommended Dr. Drew Hohensee. This man makes me so happy. I walk out feeling like a million bucks.
I think that every chiropractor is a little different and you need to find the right one for you. There is no universal chiro treatment. So with this in mind, here are the things I like about Dr. Drew:
He spent a lot of time with me my first visit understanding my body, my current pains, previous injuries, what I expect from my body, and what I need out of a Dr.
Really open and non-​judgmental.
Gives me a really gentle and confident manual adjustment. My husband (who has also been seeing him since I came home raving about my treatment) says that he gets a much stronger adjustment. Which is just how we both like it.
Does tons (!) of joint and deep tissue work. He has his massage therapist certification up on his wall. So he’s not just about your bones. My joints have never been so happy.
Gives me good tips on things I can pay attention to help improve my body on a daily basis. And then gives me a few (approx 15 min/​day) exercises and stretches to help me improve between treatments.
With me, he’s all about how I function as a whole and working on balancing me out. Whole body health is really important to me, and he just gets me. I’ve been seeing him for more than two months now and have seen a marked improvement in that time. Most of my issues are more long term changes and not intense pain that needs immediate attention.
I would especially recommend him for athletes as he’s really good at dealing with performance issues. I also think that he would be great for people who are a little leery about chiropractic because he’s so friendly, knowledgeable, and has a great way of making you feel at ease. while I know that he’s probably not right for everyone, I can’t help recommending him to anyone I know that might benefit from his services.
