Established in 1998.

From small town Southern Oregon where all there was to do was daydream and imagine possibilities from High school into adulthood, continuously trying to improve and grow. Now located in beautiful Portland, Oregon serving businesses and individuals!

Jason is a fantastic photographer. I had seen his photos of a lot of my friends and thought «I need to work with this guy.» I was extremely pleased during the shoot, he did his best to make my friend and I look good with our poses, he knows how to move a body to make it look it’s best. It was a very fun photo shoot and the photos I got back were absolutely fantastic.
Highly recommended, great work, and great to work with. I can’t wait to shoot with him again ^.^

Jason was everything I was looking for in a photographer, and more!
I was searching for a photographer online and Jason’s work stood out to me because he has an eye for great camera angles and subject placement, and his photos were very crisp and clear with great lighting and editing (something I found lacking in many others’ portfolios).
When I emailed him, his quotes were clear and reasonable, and he outlined everything in detail.
I was modeling some outfits for a photo shoot in my house. Thankfully, Jason had a lot of great ideas for posing and I already knew the photos would turn out amazing! (I’ve done shoots with other photographers where I was given no direction and most of the photos came out awkward or meh).
I was very happy with the shoot and the photos I received. I would definitely work with Jason again, and recommend him to anyone needing quality photos!

I found Jason on Google– Jailbreak was one of the few photography studios that had prices on the website, so I didn’t have to go through the BS of negotiating for a few headshots. I thought he was professional and put me at ease throughout the shoot. He also took as much time as he needed to get the photos that both him and I wanted. Another plus (in my opinion): Jason works out of his house, which means you’re not paying the overhead of a huge studio with PR people and sky-​high rent.

I have done a few shoots with Jailbreak photography now and Jason always produces the most alluring results! I had never really modeled or even paid for portrait shots before working with Jailbreak. So I had some nerves going into it. Jason made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. I didn’t know any posses but that didn’t matter because Jason talks to you and just makes you feel really comfortable and helps you simply be yourself in front of the camera but gives you directions… keep your shoulders down and your boobs up. LOL :) I never know which way to point my face either and Jason is really good about telling you how to turn your head one way or another or tilt it different ways and where to look.
I really enjoy working with Jailbreak photography and recommend them to everyone!!! Jailbreak offers an array of packages which caters to everyone’s needs, not to mentions his pricing is extremely generous for the quality of work produced!!!

I hired Jailbreak Photography to do some headshots and cute portraits of my best friend for her birthday. They did a fantastic job and made her feel very comfortable despite her initial nerves. They spend a lot of time editing photos and making them perfect, and the result is fantastic. I would definitely recommend hiring them for your event or just for some family photos or headshots.
