Hello and thank you for visiting our Yelp page. We are a small, locally owned and managed business located in the Hollywood District in NE Portland. We specialize in residential house cleaning on a weekly, bi-​weekly, monthly and as-​needed basis. We also use green and environmentally friendly products as possible. We work with many Portland realtors and property managers in turnover cleaning which has also become a big part of our business. Our experienced staff, are committed to providing the best of cleaning and customer service. We have grown for over a decade largely because of referrals. We just received an email from a new customer that says it all: «…they did a very nice job and I’m pretty picky. History

Established in 2002.

Bridge City Cleaning Service started in 2002 as Home Tek; from one flyer left on a door step, and one first client. We treat all clients today, with the same personal care we gave that first client.

Meet the Business Owner

Peggy T.

Business Owner

A native of Minnesota, Peggy has been cleaning since the 6^th grade, when her Dad passed away, and her Mom went back to school to finish her GED and on to working full time. Peggy was responsible for the care of 4 younger siblings and taking care of the house while going to school. She enjoyed shining the floors so that her Mom gently said theirs was the cleanest home in the neighborhood!

Peggy after a decade of working in the paper industry in Minnesota, moved to California and then Oregon and enjoyed a decade in non profit management at United Way before starting Bridge City Cleaning when her children were in elementary school. The values of community involvement, dignity for every person, and empowerment of employees that she learned at United Way is what makes Bridge City Cleaning Service different.

Peggy lives with her husband Steve in NE Portland, and has 2 amazing college-​age children.
