Everyone is super helpful and friendly. They really go out of their way for you. Where did they find so many nice people?

I wish I could give them zero stars. Do not buy a car seat from here! As I first time parent I ordered a car seat and didn’t know to look at the manufacture date. They sent me a car seat that was two years old! So now my car seat is expiring when it should still have two more years! After having two baby registries there and thousands of dollars spent there, all they can offer me for my «inconvenience» is 30% off. Seriously?! You sell me old car seat and that’s all you can do for me! Do not shop here!

BUYER BEWARE!!! We bought a Britax carseat for my granddaughter. Being our first grandchild, we had no idea that carseats now have expiration dates! Babies R Us sold us a 3 year old carsear! Now as our second granddaughter is due in 6 weeks, this $ 160 carseat is no good! I have three more grandchildren on the way and I will not be buying one more thing from them. I have spent an absolute fortune in this store over the years and what do they do, offer me 25% trade in! For the first time as a grandparent, I just ordered the first of many carseats from Amazon instead of Babies R Us! As for cribs, I have bought 5 from Babies R Us. The next 3 cribs will not be bought from them either. If you do not take care of your customers… guess what??? They leave and never return! I will make sure none of my grandmother friends/​families do not spend one dime in Babies R Us! You really deserve a «0» rating!

I love Babies R Us’ variety of products but they’re so expensive! As if having a baby isn’t expensive enough:/ I wish they’d cut their prices in half! Then I’d rate them five stars for sure!

Babies R Us is overpriced junk from China available from mostly useless employees and a corporation that actively cares less about you or your child. Furthermore, the selection is as robust as the rock in my front yard.
Don’t ask any of the employee’s anything, they will scoff at you for attempting to make them earn the minimum wage their terrible corporation pays them.
Expect to spend about double what you would at Amazon, Target, Walmart, or just about any other place that sells baby items. You would be much better served looking into local stores. You may spend the same amount, but at least they care about your business.
Just throw away all the wasted paper and tree’s they send you in the mail. They will raise the price on the items «on sale» to make up the difference.
Books, toys, strollers, beds, blankets, diapers, anything you would want is available at Babies R Us for double the price and with no help or support.

It’s your typical Babies R Us, so I really can’t complain. It’s even laid out the same like the one I used to go to in California, so I already knew where everything was. Yay! We needed a few things to baby proof the house; like outlet plus and drawer stoppers. We browsed through a lot of stuff, and they had a lot of good deals. I ended up buying a Kardashian outfit for my son as they just put out a boys line by browsing a bit too much. (I don’t particularly like the Kardashians, but I have to admit that they have style! The outfit is way ADORABLE, and it was on SALE!) Woot! Woot! Overall, it was a good experience, and I’m glad this is the Babies R Us closest to me.

Most of the store staff is grumpy, store somewhat disorganized. I could barley get a cart out of the store from the register due to staff clutter and boxes all over the area. the one on 82^nd, everyone is helpful a better layout.

Came with my bro, who is expecting his first child. Staff was everywhere, willing to help and friendly. Most items on sale, but still overpriced. But that’s to be expected at Babies R Us, right? But it’s great to browse their extensive collections of stuff, to get an idea of what lies ahead.

The staff were really helpful and very happy to help us. The gentlemen working the car seat area really knew their stuff. They were very accommodating of or million questions and showed us all the ways the seats and strollers worked together.
They made sure we knew about the sales and how long they were running.
Our first trip to babies r us was a success and we will surely be back soon.

We have visited this store three times over the last week due to being lied to about the dates sales ended and refusals to match online pricing despite signs saying they will do price matches. It has been a huge fiasco that has resulted in my wife and I deciding to take our business elsewhere. We are expecting our first child and was looking forward to the «Babies R Us shopping spree» however due to multiple lies and refusals to honor published policies we have opted to not return. We encourage others to avoid doing business with this unethical store.

Since my bad experience here, I have gone back. I’ve had to — I have a little one & this store has everything.
While it is still obvious that the workers here aren’t paid much, therefore aren’t super helpful, it is nice that they carry so much and it’s all available under one roof.
I’ve noticed their Burt’s Bees baby products are cheaper here than anywhere else. And they often have pretty decent sales.

Great baby selection but not the greatest service.

It appears that when it comes to receiving great customer service here, it is either a hit or miss. The few times I’ve been here, the customer service was great. My hubby and I were always asked how we were doing and if we needed any help, etc. When we had registered for our baby registry, the sales associate was extremely helpful. The only issue we had was that the person entered our password all in caps and we were unaware of that which made it annoying when we tried to log onto our registry at home. Besides that, we had help from the same woman who had helped us with the registry when we had questions about baby bottles. She was very knowledgeable and so helpful that she was able to answer all of our questions.
Then there are those other times that we had been here, the customer service was pretty much meh. The sales associates appeared to look bothered and we were never asked if we needed help with anything. I got asked by one employee but she asked without giving any eye contact. So it seems like it depends on who is working at the store at the time you can get either good or bad service, just like most department stores.
As for merchandise, it seems kinda pricey but getting the 20 percent discount coupon helps out a lot, especially with high priced merchandise like a travel system. As for the selection of merchandise, they did not really have a wide selection of accessories such as hats, headbands, and booties, etc. so it was kind of unfortunate that I couldn’t complete a whole outfit. They have very few outfits with matching accessories and would like it if they had more.

Okay, so 4 stars is for literally having everything we need, and being so curteous everytime we have dealt with them.
My fiancé and I are expecting our first child in about a month. Being first time parents we have no idea what we are doing. This store has everything laid out, with consumer reveiws. When we registered we were given a detailed instruction on how to do so, as well as the option to deny gift cards. Which we didnt, but thats always a nice option. We had some trouble with the scanner because we would scan things that were going to be discontinued, so we would have to scan them again. Luckily they rescued us.
When we got our crib, which happened to be the last one of that crib in the western half of the united states, they shipped it to our store for free, then the guy helped my fiancé and our roomate load it into the back of the car, which required taking it out of the box. They spent 20 minutes outside with the employee helping them cram this into our CRV.
They send a 10% off coupon to everything you registered for that you didnt get a month before the baby comes, and this combines with any other sales that might be going on. Normally I would say this place is a little more expensive than I want it to be, but they always print out coupons for you at the register and they always have big sales. I got my bed set for 50 percent off!

Bad customer service. Won’t go back again!!!

Last weekend we went into Babies R US to shop for cribs. I was a bit disappointed in the variety of cribs that had. Most of them were the style that could only be pushed against a wall. There were a couple that could pull out at an angle however most of those were not of good quality. They seemed rickety compared to the other versions. Additionally the lady in the furniture department wasn’t very helpful. She didn’t engage us at all and didn’t make eye contact until we walked up and had to ask her a question. When we did that she helped us just fine, but it didn’t seem as though she cared that we were about to drop $ 400+ on a crib.

I love babies. I love cute baby items. I love my friends. I even like baby showers. So why do I often shudder when I get a baby shower invitation? Because 9 times out of 10 they are registered here. I understand that for those expectant mothers, this is THE place to register. And because I love my friends dearly I will dutifully show up, print off the registry and take my turn in purgatory looking fruitlessly for baby crap that they need. I’m not sure I have ever found registry items here in under half an hour. That’s because they are never on the aisle the registry directs you to and you spend your time matching descriptions and UPC codes of things that look like the registry items. Sometimes you can find a clueless employee who sorta vaguely points you in the direction of your sought after item, not unlike a cloaked Grim Reaper. Creepy…
Other times, you will find the spot where the item was supposed to be. They are out of a lot of stock it seems whenever I visit. Your best bet is to mark off several items on the registry just to be safe. The selection is large though. +1 star for that. Every single baby whatchamacallit can probably be found here, or was here at some point until they ran out of it.
Visit if you must. Maybe you will be luckier than me and your friends will register elsewhere. I usually buy a necessary item or two here and then run away to another, better, locally owned store for something thoughtful to add into any baby gift I purchase. The other star I gave them? It’s for being located near several bars. You will probably need a drink after a visit here.

I don’t actually have any children, so this is a store that I don’t frequent. I am at that age though where many of my friends are starting to have children and this is the go-​to place for baby shower presents!
Expecting parents can register for what items they would like. The website makes it really easy to find their registry, basically just search for any of the parents’ names, baby name, city, etc. Then you get a list of everything they want, if it’s been purchased and if you can buy it online or not. Really helpful for us clueless people who can then take a list to a store associate, point at something and they’ll help me find it. If I was left to my own devices to figure out what to get and where to find it, you can expect to find me crying like a baby in the corner somewhere.
One tip though, for those of you in my shoes. Make sure to get your registry list scanned when making purchases. Other wise it will not give accurate information on what’s been purchased already.

This place is unbelievably stupid. The customer service is non-​existent, in fact the service people were more engaged in talking about their hair than helping customers. They don’t know anything about the products! The store is over-​priced and has under educated help. You cannot hire teenagers and have them tell expectant mothers what will need to do with a breast pump…
Management needs management skills if this is the best they can do.

Whenever Michelle B comes into town, we absolutely have to stop here. Granted, neither one of us have kids, nor do we have many friends with kids, but we do have one thing in common: an obsession with widdle-​itty-​bitty-​cutsie clothes. And that’s a fact.
