Avalon Flowers

This is a fantastic flower shop. The staff Is generous and knowledgeable, and their love of flowers and plants is visible.
I have been to flower shops across different U.S. cities for years; they are deserving of five stars.
I get flowers for my house and bring a vase in and get seasonal flowers every month. Look what they did for me in this picture.
I’ve spent a lot of money sending flowers to my friends and family as well, and it’s risky every time you have to choose a random flower shop in the city they live in. Choose this one! They will not disappoint!
Other times I had an awkward hydrangea/​Rose mess sent to my friend in Chicago ($ 75, they told me it would be amazing), and a small vase of mums and carnations sent as a thank you to my friend in Seattle. ($ 140 for a thank you, I was so embarrassed when I saw the small arrangement.) I know the pain and anxiety when you want to pay for something amazing.
Call them. You will look like a fantastic, loving person. They are experts.
This is my seasonal bouquet for my house. Case closed.

I have used Avalon for years! Illnesses, funerals and corsages. In fact my son is a senior this year and Snell and Cory have made every corsage for every dance for him. Sometimes, we just call and chat on the phone, sometimes we send a picture of the dress or fabric of the dates dress but whatever we do, his date always has the most amazing corsage! You know those pictures the girls take if their wrists together, showing off their corsages? His dates always stands out. Just a little classier, more colorful, better with the dress etc. we live in the suburbs and still drive in to pick each time.
Once my friend fell off his horse and was just home from a hospital stay. Fair to say that he was a bit blue. I called Avalon and Cory said «I know just what he would like»! My friend could not say enough about how beautiful or how long they lasted!
My husband ordered roses for our 20^th anniversary from Avalon and had them delivered to my office. They were so beautiful and lasted till the weekend when I took them home and enjoyed them for many more days.

I placed an order over the phone (I’m in Florida at the moment) I wanted to have some flowers delivered to my wife to let her know how much I miss her. The person who helped me was literally the S*IT, he was so nice and professional and gave me an amazing experience over the phone. I believe his name was Snell (I hope I got it right if not I apologize), he even wrote down a little poem on the card for me (you Rock Snell. I really hope that’s your name) anyway I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants top notch service!

I received a beautiful arrangement from my husband for my birthday last Monday from Avalon. He was a little nervous, because he’s not used this florist before, but I was truly blown away! The arrangement was quite large, and they used beautiful, exotic flowers as he had specified; birds of paradise, orchids, lilies, and several flowers I’ve not seen before that reminded me of Hawaii. It was beautifully put together, in a gorgeous, unique vase, and the flowers were so fragrant. The best part? Fully one week later, though I’ve removed the lilies and a couple of the large tropicals that dried out over the past week, the orchids and birds of paradise are still going strong, and even having removed a few of the blossoms, the arrangement still looks great! This was a truly special gift that left me feeling very loved and a little spoiled. :)

Large, beautiful, unique arrangement at a reasonable price. The service (Snell) was friendly and the shop is charming. My arrangement was finished on time with short notice (for a party) and when I picked it up, I couldn’t believe it was mine — huge and dazzling for $ 35!
I’m writing this review years later (I was there ⁶⁄₂₀₀₈) but I found their card in my desk and thought back how lovely the arrangement was.

Received 10% of the flowers I paid for. Will not use this company again.

Like traveling gypsies, our beloved office flower cart packed up and disappeared one day. While they were probably the priciest flowers I have ever purchased, this cart saw me through many O’ days.
Retirements, birthdays, break ups, creepy stalker boyfriends, death.
It has been quite a few months since that flower cart decided to leave me all destitute and alone. I have had no choice but to learn to get by without it. Gifting people with other things like homeade Kombucha, chocolate or homemade burritos.
«You are retiring after 45 years with the company? Let me make you a burrito!»
«Your dog just got hit by a Semi? Here, shove a tamale in your mouth, wash it down with peach Kombucha!»
Sadly, a friend of ours is currently going through a crisis that not even a homemade burrito can fix. With no time to wait for interweb delivery, we headed to Avalon.
The place was filled with trees and flowers and scents that made a little party happen in my nose. They were all cheery and perfect for someone who is on the ledge.
Snell, was the cutest florist ever, who walked around and enthusiastically strutted what Avalon had to offer. He told us the names of trees, encouraged us to smell (not Snell) the acanthus that were sitting on the counter and helped us pick out a matching enclosure card.
We walked out of there with a giant arbor-​flower-​thing, neatly wrapped in a bow made by Snell. The entire arbor, plus the vase was only $ 33! A bargain compared to thy gypsies!
This arbor is no homemade burrito, it’s true, but I hope our friend enjoys it just as much as we enjoyed our lovely first visit to Avalon.
After all, who needs gypsies when you got Snell?
