So, this is a club for super rich people to hob-nob with other super rich people. Now, most of these types of clubs are filled with old grey-haired dudes who made tons of money when they were younger, and are dark, dimly lit, hardwood floored, walnut paneled walled, stuffy, boring, dungeons. Arlington Club is the exception. This place is bright, cheery, and brimming with beautiful architecture, design, and artwork. I’m lucky enough to have a super rich friend who had me over for lunch one day. The lobby is spacious and open, and meeting rooms are well appointed for comfort. Natural light abounds throughout the building; it’s as if light is more valued than darkness. Many people at this club are younger, hipper, and friendlier than other ritzy social clubs. The service in the dining areas is exceptional and the food is impeccable. Truly one of the finest dining experiences in Portland. If I were super rich, you can be sure this is the club I would join. In the meantime, I can’t wait to get invited back.

My husband and I married here a few months ago. The space is stunning, quiet; yet in the middle of the hustle of city center. Every space was well designed and modern; rare for a club that is as old as Oregon. Because my father-in-law was a member, we were able to have our wedding here. If anyone is a member, I recommend having your wedding here. The second floor dining room overlooks the stunning Park Block. Simply gorgeous.
