Antworks Pest Control

Read lots of great reviews and was really excited to try them out, but could never get a real person on the phone. I work a lot of hours and don’t have time for phone tag. Going to call someone with a receptionist that can book an appointment on the spot.

The husband and wife team here is amazing. They go above and beyond for their customers and tell you step by step what exactly you need to do to avoid pests, and use the highest quality, non-​toxic and environmentally conscious removal techniques to keep pests from returning. They are excellent communicators and have a high standard of integrity. I would go back to them in a second if I needed any more pest control; ant or otherwise. I was dealing with a difficult situation and they handled it with the upmost professionalism, and expertise. They personalize the pest control to perfectly meet your needs (unlike bigger nation chain pest businesses). Call them! You won’t regret it. They truly care about their customers and want the best for them.

So far so good. We were told that it will take a couple of weeks to a month for complete results. They also stand behind their work because they are planning to come back out if it is not completely realized after the time frame they gave us. Nonetheless, we have been seeing many dead carpenter ants lately so things are moving along well.

I had to wait a bit longer than when I used a larger, more corporate company, however the wait was worth it.
These guys know their stuff. I thought I had a bedbug problem and researched it frantically, finding facts and finding ways to protect myself. When I had someone come out and look at everything, he acknowledged that I looked into things and only tried to add to or correct me. That’s a big sign someone is pretty honest and won’t swindle you.
Long story short I’m still working to find out my problem but these guys help me to confirm what it was not and made me feel very comfortable and open to doing business with them.
And of course for something as serious as Bedbugs, you would think a primarily ant company would be hesitant but they knew their stuff!

YAY I just had Antworks come out and I am SO excited that I have only seen a couple of ants in the last few days, which means it’s working. I have lived with ants way too long. Bye Bye ants. Oh, and this company is amazing! Call them.

Antworks does good work — they were the first to actually fix the problem we’ve had.
However, their customer service has been consistently atrocious for the 2+ years we’ve worked with them. Some time ago they went through a phase where I had to call every day for three weeks before actually getting someone to call me back (keep in mind I was a current, paying customer at the time). They also kept trying to get us to double pay an invoice, insisting that we still owed them. Eventually we had to provide them with bank statements showing the check clearing our account in order to get them to stop harassing us.
Every time a problem came up, we were given an explanation and told the problem was resolved. It wasn’t. The last straw was being given one price over the phone, and then being told in a long email that we would actually have to pay more.
We stuck with them due to their claims of being the only ones in the Portland area who use the same chemical they do, and thus the only ones who can effectively help us. After verifying that multiple other companies in the area use the same product (and at a lower cost), we can finally ditch them.
It is clear that Antworks does not value their customers, so we’re going to find someone who does.

So I wanted to wait a few weeks until I posted my review. Give the ants a chance to find a new strategy
TL;DR Call Antworks now if you have ants in your pants.
As luck would have it, I called a few minutes after someone else had canceled. This meant I could get same day service. Chris came out, looked at my ant issue and explained it all to me. He sprayed around the house, inside the trouble area room and under the crawl space In the basement.
It’s been a few weeks and we have not seen any sign of those little bastards. Thank you Antworks!

I was so happy I found Antworks when we couldn’t get rid of sugar ants in our outbuilding a couple months ago. Not only was Mitch polite and efficient, he also made me aware of some other pests — carpenter ants! He provided some advice for addressing the issue, as well as other services to consider, but did not push any additional treatments at that time. I really appreciated that!
Within about a day after the treatment, the sugar ants were gone almost immediately, but then I became distraught over what felt like a possible infestation of the carpenter ants. Mitch warned that they may also be affected by the perimeter treatment, so we waited it out. Sure enough after about a week, and following the simple suggestions Mitch gave, they abated. I won’t mess around though in waiting to call Antworks for a follow up if they start showing up again on the exterior or interior.

What a great company! We had a rental property that we were fixing up, trying to put it back on the market. During renovations, we noticed a few carpenter ants. I found Antworks through Google and I’m glad I did.
Mitch squeezed me into their schedule and came to the house on a Saturday no less. He really listened, trying to understand the problem and pinpointing the affected areas. He treated the entire house, including the crawl space and there was no odor with the spray. I’ve never seen such a thorough inspection or application. And they are so nice and easy to work with.
Best of all they are a locally-​owned, family-​operated business. Don’t was time with the big national chains. Antworks Pest Control will bend over backwards for you.

I had them at my house for Sugar Ant problem. I have tried other companies and home remedies but nothing worked. Antworks were awesome and got the problem under control. All there work is guarantee and I love how Antworks have a regular service program to keep those ants away for good.

I’ve been using Antworks for about 3 years now. I live in ant central and have tried 3 other pest control companies with little results. These guys return calls fast and get me scheduled in quick.

I discovered ants had taken over my kitchen and outside my house last week and was super freaked out because well… ants are annoying!!!
I decided to call «All About Ants» to see if they could help me with my problem. I called and left a message on their voicemail and got a call back within 10 minutes from an employee named Chris. He was very informed about the removal of ants and said he would be out as soon as possible to help me get rid of the ants. The appointment was at 4 pm and Chris showed up at 4 pm on the dot and I showed him the problem areas of my home. He knew what type of ants were attacking and how to deal with them.
He did a thorough spray outside and found several nests. He also sprayed inside where the problem areas were in my kitchen and bathroom and under the sink. Even though having ants in the home was stressful Chris made ant removal fun. I enjoyed talking to him about the pests and he was very customer service oriented.
Also you can pay by credit card as they have this neat scanner thing on their i phone.

Likely one of the best experiences with a business I’ve ever had.
Called to discuss an ant problem and spoke with a highly knowledgeable person straight away. He had great insight to what our problem was and explained everything clearly. We were able to schedule a service the very next day. Chris showed up precisely on time and stayed for the duration he had estimated. He walked me through everything he was doing and explained the rationale. Very personable, never once felt pressured. I felt very confident and comfortable working with him.
He sprayed both around the entire foundation of my house as well as all hot-​spot rooms. He used something that is safe for both humans and pets, which put my mind at ease, and it was odorless! Really have no complaints.

All About Ants Pest Control is the real deal. 100% legit business. Totally agree with the first two reviews. This company does a stellar job. All work is guaranteed up to four months if you see another ant again, they will come back. and trust me, those little f’ers wont be back. So that alone should get you to try AAAPC if you are having ant, bugs, pest problems. Our exterminator, Chris drove all the way out from Troutdale to my place in Aloha to take care of the ant problem. He was professional and knowledgeable with what he was doing. Unlike those big commerical companies like Terminix and Orkin that make you sign a year contract with them. All About Ants is not about that, they are one and done. And thats the way I like it.

We were unable to get rid of the ants at our house; caulking and ants traps weren’t working, so I headed over here to Unilocal where I found this business listing. I called and left a message asking for a return call, which came within thirty minutes or so from Chris.
I explained our problem and talked to him for quite awhile. We’ve never had to call a pest control company before so really wanted to be sure before I committed myself to something I’d later regret.
I had been impressed by All About Ants’ website, and was further impressed with the way Chris answered my questions. He was thorough, friendly, and obviously well informed. So I decided to hire him.
He went to the house the very next day, and oh my gosh, I was glad I’d called All About Ants. Chris found several nests of ants, and the problem was so severe that the varmints were even going up into our trees and shrubbery! He said that’s very unusual, but why should I do things in a normal fashion, right? Why not go to worst case scenario from the very beginning!
Chris said he doesn’t usually see infestations of sugar ants this bad, but he sprayed over and under and around and inside and outside and wherever else he needed to using non-​toxic to pets and people spray.
Then (as I said, why should we do things the easy way?) he saw a carpenter ant. No biggie, right? Except that then he saw another one. And another. So he asked if i wanted him to spray for carpenter ants while he was there. Oh sure, gimme the whole thing (it did cost extra).
The ants should all be gone in three weeks, and if they’re not, he will come back at no charge. All About Ants’ work is guaranteed, and I wasn’t pressured to sign up for a yearly contract (which I can have if I want it).
I’m glad I came to Unilocal first and very glad I found this company. I like that they take a «one size DOESN’T fit all» approach and I like that I wasn’t pressured to sign up for a yearly contract. The price was reasonable, service was very fast and efficient, and I felt that my concerns were addressed in a very professional way.
