History
Established in 1990.
In 1991, local real estate manager, Alan Peters renovated an old Teamsters building that stood adjacent to the Oregon Convention Center and transformed it into a free-standing conference center, the Portland Conference Center. It was later renamed the Ambridge Event Center after a hardy, local species of rose.
In 2008, the Ambridge Event Center moved into its new, current location at 1333 NE Martin Luther King Blvd. in the heart of Portland’s bustling Lloyd Center District.
For nearly 20 years, the Ambridge Event Center has served Portland’s special event needs building a reputation for friendly and superior service.
