Located in sunny Portland, Oregon, Lightbox Kulturhaus is an independent dance space facilitating Synesthetic experimentation and physical theater.
Since the Spring of 2011 the Lightbox aims to be an incubator of local culture, community dialogue, and intimate dance and theater performance. We seek to provide inspiration, education, and activation. We encourage the growth of art and creativity in Portland as a whole, and our intent is to provide a forum and a physical space for both.
The studio is available for classes, workshops, photography rentals and special events. With ample natural light provided by three large skylights, the studio offers a beautiful daytime workshop or community room space.
