Specialties

Commander’s Beach House is the only B&B accommodation that is located right on the beach in Port Townsend. Our lodgings are in Point Hudson Marina, just three blocks from downtown shops and restaurants.

Three of our 4 rooms are located right on the beach with private baths. Our 4th room overlooks the garden and has an in suite shared bath. A full sit down gourmet breakfast is served each morning. We specialize in local organic foods when possible. Vegan, gluten free and lactose free diets can be accommodated. Breakfast is served overlooking the water from our common room or sunny veranda

Our rooms have views of Whidbey Island, Mount Baker, the Cascade Mountains, the shipping lanes as well as shore birds, seals, otters and occasionally whales

We are a relaxed Cape Cod style house. Come and fall asleep lulled by the sights and sounds of the sea. Our motto is «Relax and solve nothing»

History

Established in 1999.

We are in our 13th year of serving customers. Our B&B was originally built in 1934 and was designated as the Commanding Officer’s House for the Military Quarantine Station that was built here in historic Point Hudson.

Business Owner

Gail and her husband Jim along with their mellow yellow lab Captain Cutter

have been running the B&B for thirteen years. They are both kayakers and enjoy going out in their boat for crab during the summer season.
