Not good at all! No flavor, noodles in chowmein are spaghetti noodles. Won’t ever eat there again!

You have to check out their Wooden boat festival special. We went to listen to the live music and 80% of the food there was from Shanghi! Good thing the festival is 3 days!!! Only 4 stars because the line was so long.

Rotten rotten rotten… that’s what this nasty place should be called… they have dirty people who can’t speak English and snotty nosed kids serving your food… found black curly hairs in my noodles and it was the worst experience of my life… steer clear!!!

I live here and frequently get take out or delivery. The food is average American Chinese, but it’s the only place that delivers and I’ve always gotten it quickly. It’s definitely not bad, though I’ve certainly had better. The service has been great every time though.

This was an outstanding experience. The appetizers were fresh, and perhaps homemade(?). Great care was taken with the main courses. An expertly carved vegetable duck appeared in a chicken dish, our chow mein featured artfully carved vegetables too! The waiter(owner?) was supremely gracious. The dishes were lighter than the traditional heavily sauced Chinese fare. The flavors were light and lovely. I don’t understand the criticisms from others. We will be back!

This by far is the worst restaurant I have ever come across. The delivery took over an hour and a half to get here. The food looks like it was last weeks left overs and the flavor wasn’t far off. If you enjoy food do your self a favor and eat somewhere else.

Worst experience of my life. Food was atrocious and service was unbelievable. They have their children working and everything that we witnessed was totally unsanitary. The children were dropping the table cleaning rags on the ground then proceeding to wipe the table very poorly, touched the utensils and cups with their hands after they were crawling on the floors and playing outside, then when carrying the food out to us, a wonton slipped off the plate and I saw the little girl move it back onto the plate with her hand then serve the plate to us. Additional to that, the food was luke warm by the time it came out and nothing spectacular. I had general tsoas– which was not what I got at all, and my husband got broccoli beef– which also was not the best.

Picked this restaurant at random on a day trip to Port Townshend this weekend. I’m glad we did! EXCELLENT service and food. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They brought out little animals cut from radishes and cucumbers with our meal, which was a nice touch. They also gave us home made cream puffs for dessert at no cost! Give them a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

We came here after a long day at the tulip festival. Had just crossed the ferry and ate here with 3 children ages 8 – 12. Staff was extremely friendly. Service was great. Atmosphere was very family friendly. Food came out quick. Chef does amazing carvings to the food which added a nice touch. Average quality of food was very good. Moo Shoo pork was excellent. Salmon egg foo young very good. Sweet and sour pork — o.k. Broccoli and Beef — very good When the bill came — it was a surprise. Excellent value for the money.

Very fresh. I usually order off the specials board. May not be perfect, but deserves a better rating than the average given here. We keep coming back.

Bad food, bad service, dirty! Tablecloth full of food from previous customers. Tablecloths on surrounding tables also hadn’t been changed in weeks. Dirty folded napkin from previous customer still on table. When I asked for clean one, the owner and waitress directed me to use the dirty napkin. Before I could cancel my order it arrived. I ordered the Cod special thinking it would be fresh. Nothing fresh about it. Tasteless with pink syrup all over it. Old, cold white rice(they didn’t even bother to heat up, vegetables weren’t with meal as advertised. Soup was cup of water with one wonton in it(no broth). Yes, an actual cup of water! Children running in and out of kitchen with stuffed animals and toys. Small.children.pouring hot water. Health department needs to pay this restaurant a visit. Horrible experience. Such careless and thoughtless regard for customer! No effort on kitchen, wait or cleaning staff.

We picked up take out from here simply because it was convenient. It is a 2 minute walk from our RV site to the restaurant. Fried pot stickers: Average. Nice amount of meat inside. Thick wrapper. Came with a super, duper hot dipping sauce. I’m used to a more of a teriyaki, sesame sauce. Fried rice: It looks impressive because it is loaded with cooked egg, lots of pork and veggies. But just plain tasting. Sweet & Sour Chicken: Again just average.

I was on vacation in the Olympic peninsula recently, and went out to eat with some friends who heavily recommended Shanghai, and after visiting, I can see why. Since there were 6 of us, and we were starving, we ordered the 6 person Family Dinner Special. It included: Sizzling Rice Soup, Egg Roll, Shrimp Toast, Fried Won Ton, Garlic Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Assorted Vegetables, Shanghai Special Shrimp, Smoked Tea Duck(½), Sweet & Sour Pork, Pork Fried Rice and Tea. We also had a side order of spring rolls. What a feast! Positives: –The food is flat-out fantastic. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had. –No MSG is used in the food. –Great views of the San Juan Straits. –Awesome service, it’s a very family oriented place. One of the waiters is a jokester, and even the little kids will help with bringing food or water out. –The Family Dinner was a great deal, especially with the amount and variety of food you get. Negatives: –Nothing I can think of. Do yourself a favor if you’re out in the Seattle area… check out some of the restaurants in the port towns of the Olympic peninsula — definitely some good eats there that are often overlooked.

Always great service; friendly folks and wonderful scenery. The food is hit and miss — not the best Kung Pao Chicken, for example, but not bad. Definitely a fun and quality experience in Port Townsend.
