Solid restaurant. Clean, great décor, superb service. A 4 people in our party enjoyed their pizza. Classic Margerita, Di Parma, Blanco, Spinacci were all prepared perfectly with a slight char on the crust. The crust — perfect. Garlic bread and Caesar salad were a good start. I don’t get the 3.5 stars. Better than that!

Good food! But, order is always wrong when ordering take out! We have mentioned to the owner plenty of times. But, nothing has changed. We even repeat the order like 3 times and something is always wrong with it. Also, there pizza is getting smaller and smaller same with their calzone. We pay $ 20 for a calzone that’s the size of a slice. Don’t get it. 2 calzones and an app for $ 50 is ridiculous. And no left overs bc the portions are so small.

I love this place. It’s brick oven pizza. The buffalo chicken pizza is amazing but definitely get the medium sauce not the mild! Also, the sweetie pie is outstanding. I definitely recommend trying both!

Great place for a group of friends. Fantastic food. Not the best place for a date. It’s very loud inside.

When The Pie opened it claimed to be the Frank Pepe’s of Long Island. Frank Pepe is a very old pizzeria in New Haven CT. Frank Pepe uses coal fired ovens to produce a pizza that has a thin crispy crust that cannot seem to be re-created any other way. The Pie did a pretty good job of producing a product that was similar to Pepe’s. The Pie was sold a few years later and my favorite choice, Clams Casino pie was immediately dropped. Sometime later they brought it back. Well moving forward the pizzas they made after that were not as good but OK. We stopped frequenting the place. About a year ago we decided to try The Pie again and ordered a couple of pizzas for take out and were quite disappointed. Having short memories we tried The Pie again last night and what we got was awful. They no longer have the Clams Casino pizza and suggested Clams Oreganata Pizza and it was tasteless. a Pomodoro Pizza that had almost no sauce and a Fungie Pie that was soggy but would have been good if the crust was cooked properly. You won’t hear me suggest chains often but Anthony’s Coal fired pizza that has a few locations on Long Island is a better choice. The Pie’s menu has been removed from our take out drawer.

I was visiting a friend which happens to be in the area she mentioned this place had decent food so we decided to stop by. Walking in we were seated right away, once settled we got our menu, No drinking this time we had some Ginger Ale & Hi C punch this was fine. Food we decide to try the Margarita Pizza & the Gnocchi Bolognese, We also had a regular order of the Mac & Cheese for the kids. Margarita pizza was pretty good nice tasting sauce good amount of cheese. The Gnocchi was very good, great tasting sauce with a nice amount of meat in the sauce very tasty & very filling. The Mac & Cheese is home made which is always a good thing really good Mac & cheese & super cheesy nice thick sauce. As for the place itself nice size with plenty of seating, smells delicious walking in since the first thing u smell is the brick oven pizza. Service was good, prices are seasonable we enjoyed our meal.

The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the pizza was burnt on the bottom. So that ruined the overall taste. I dont think it should be served if its burnt. That was a disappointment. I just hope next time I go, the pizza isnt burnt. But one great thing they do now, or maybe always did but the waiter only told us about it this time, is that you can make the pizza half and half. Which was great cause I could order what I wanted and my friend ordered what he wanted. The pizza came out super quick. So that was very nice.

DONOTGOHERE!!! You’ll be in downport/port Jefferson for God’s sake!!! Surrounded by other– way better eateries. The pizza me and my gf got– was tasteless– chewy– ANDWAYWAYWAYOVERPRICED… The appetizer of clams was lackluster and also over priced. After all that being said, the service was disgusting. Our server — Trevor or Travis or something like that would not stop staring at my girlfriends’ breast’s, making her feel uncomfortable, and came across as condescending. Will never ever return, and plan on calling management. Do yourself a solid favor and get a meal somewhere else.

The food was excellent. Price was a little high for value, but definitely worth the experience. The server was very friendly, and very quick. I wish the beer selection was larger with local options.

Good place to go for some brick oven pizza. My wife and I usually have a glass of wine and get a pie. Their pizza is really good.

Very good pizza! It’s thin and crispy! We ordered the buffalo blue cheese pie. Yum but not a lot of sauce but a lot of cheese!!! The garlic bread is like a tiny pie with garlic. Very friendly atmosphere and they have Boylan soda-got the black cherry.

When you walk in the first thing you notice(depending on what time/day you go) is a sea of people! They really know how to pack the tables in! Personally I think the decoration is very nice. Dim lighting and nice big wooden booth seats that can seat up to 3 adults comfortably. The entire staff that I encountered was sweet and helpful. We ordered fried ravioli appetizer, ravioli with meat sauce, medium clam pie and buffalo chicken pie. Both ravioli dishes were delicious! My friend got the buffalo pizza and said it was very good. He enjoyed the crust specifically he had mentioned. I found my clam pizza to be bland. The crust was extremely thin and while they may be some peoples thing, my pizza was extremely soggy because of it and it was hard to fold in half. The pizza consisted of a white pizza base with some chopped clams tossed on top. No flavor to the clams at all. No extra flavor to the bland white pizza. Womp womp. For our drinks we ordered wine and beer(they gots no booze license!) My friend ordered a beer so I asked for a stout but to my dis fortune they only have light beers. I order wine in place & the Merlot I ordered was delightful! All in all our dinner was enjoyable. One thing to note was that it was almost obnoxiously loud. But hey– it’s an Italian restaurant. I guess what was I supposed to expect? The star I docked? The pizza there is not really up my ally. The fact they don’t have a liquor license and just light beer… eh.

I love this resteraunt! I ordered the mac and cheese with low expectations at first: but it turns out it was the best homeade mac and cheese I had ever had! It was extra cheesy: which I appreciate! The service was great and nice waitors and waitresses. I look forward to going to the pie again!

You really can’t go wrong with brickoven pizza. It’s an easy way for a group of people to go out to eat, try a bit of everything and not break the bank. Bring your own wine… $ 5 corking fee! Or drink some local beer on tap! Cheers!

The Pizza is brick oven thin crust. It’s a nice change from all the other pizza places around. *The Gorgonzola salad is delicious. A little $$ for a salad in a pizza place but I seem to order it every time. I highly recommend if you get a pizza add the roasted garlic.
