We have been ordering from here both take out and deliver for over a year, and NEVER once have they gotten everything in the order right, and NEVER once have we ask for a refund, until tonight. We ordered delivery,(my husband works full-time, and is in school full-time so we have very little time together…) so my husband and I could have dinner and watch a movie in the comfort of our home and not have to leave… we placed the order it took over a hour to get here,($ 43.00+ tip), as we took everything out of the bag we found that the gravy for my meal was missing so I called, and they said someone would bring it back… now this just ruined out evening, as my husband ate his food while it was still fresh and hot… my gravy was delivered 45 min. later, all of my food and the food we got to share was now cold, my husband had eaten… the lady,(owner) handed me the bag with the gravy, and I told her why I was upset, and said I thought we should get a refund, she was pissed off and started pulling money out of her wallet, ask me what I wanted and I said a full refund, and she grabbed the bag from and said«give me all my food back…» I grabbed the bag back and said«how can we give you all the food back my husband ate his food…», she could have offered to refund me for my food and I would have been happy with that or even if she has brought me a new meal with the gravy on it as it should have been that would have been fine as well but NO… she started yelling at me, to give her her food back, and I tried to tell her again…*the gravy we got was cold, it was not even warm). She walked away and as she was leaving I told her to never come back to this complex again and i was going to talk to the mang. and make sure she was not allowed back, she told me «you never come to me again, never call again…», so as she was leaving I called the rest. and talked to a very nice lady that told me should would refund me our money but we had to go there to get it as she didn’t drive only took the bus, she told me to call when we got to the parking lot and she would come out, we did and when we called we were told«she not here, dont’ know where she is…» and hung up, I called back and they would not answer, so my husband called from his phone and they answered he tried to talk to the owner but she was just yelling«you give me my food back I give you your money back…» and she hung up… My husband took the bag with the gravy in it into the rest. left it on the counter and walked out… he was so calm through all of this, and the owner was rude and disrespectful. This place has good food when then can get the order right.

I’m sure the food would have been good if it was hot. I ordered delivery and it took an hour and a half to get here I’m about a 20 min drive from the restaurant. Dumplings where cold, lo mien combo plate was warm at best(tasted good), the only thing that was hot was the egg drop soup. The fortune cookies were stail. I called after an hour of waiting they said it was on the way then waited another 30 mins and finally the phone call to pay for the order. The online coupon didn’t work it was suppose to be a dollar off but I still got charged full price. I didn’t argue I was hungry so I still paid. I feel you will have to order online and pick up in store to get the better/hotter food.

I love their lo mein! I prefer a thicker, spaghetti type noodle and their lo mein it’s exactly that along with big pieces of shrimp or chicken(my consistent picks) and some veggies. I also like their chicken wings. Don’t be fooled by the menu, you get four per order, but you get the wing and the drummy together, so 4 are plenty. The cream cheese wontons are standard, not great but not terrible. The only area they really lack is in service. They’re habitually understaffed and my order isn’t ready on time about 50% of the time.

The first time I grabbed food here, I would have given it 3 stars, but I get pretty much the same order a day ago, and was dissapointed. I realized too late that it was actually my own fault, because I should have asked for«hot», like I’m sure I did my first time there. It wasn’t offered as an option when I placed my order, so I didn’t think to do so. I get the S&S chicken(as usual), which comes with only battered chicken(thick batter) and sauce(no fruit of veg. in the sauce). It’s not bad for a fast $ 5 meal, but only a slight step up from the CiCi’s buffet next door(D grade pizza). The Kung Pow was the primary dissapointment. No taste! The General Tso was edible, but needed to be kicked up a knotch or two. The Cream Cheese wontons are pretty good, but make sure you ask for a sauce to go with them. The egg rolls were not particularly good, and I’m ok with thier fried rice. In the end, I may eat there again because they are fast and are the cheapest Asian restaurant around… nice lunch prices($ 5 or $ 7 – 8 w/fried rice+egg roll) & they deliver to my house. I would DEFINITELY request spicing up any entrée ordered. I can’t rate the sushi, because I don’t eat that, but I have watched them make it and it looks nice(and didn’t smell fishy), so they could have some points for some people in that department.

I ended up parking in front of this place as I finished a phone call. In the 15 minutes I was on the phone, no less than 7 put-together adults walked in and out with to-go bags. They do have a «sushi counter» and two tables to eat inside. I opted for the Kung Pao Chicken, my default. The chicken was either over-fried or made prior and reheated. No flavor in the sauce and the white rice was sub par. As I drove away wishing that I could take my lunch decision back, I looked up at the name of the restaurant sign: «#1 Chinese and Japanese Restaurant»… I fell victim to the«nahmber won»
