I just needed a last minute order of four round tables. when I called on Wednesday they asked me when the party was and I told them on Sunday. They gave me the option of picking up the tables either Friday or Saturday. With Friday being a rainy day, we decided to pick up on Saturday and drop off was on Monday.
The tables were in wonderful condition and the entire process from arrival to departure, took approximately five minutes or less. Super quick!
Speaking on the phone with Erin was so simple and all of the young ladies there were extremely polite and professional. Great place!

The provided great service the day of our wedding. Everything arrived on time and was what we ordered. When we selected our items they were kind enough to make custom table runners from a material we though was would work best. They came out beautifully! They have such a great selection of unique rentals. They also didn’t make a big fuss of last minute changes (our request was reasonable).

We have nothing but love for PJ and the staff at Pleasanton Rentals! They’re such a pleasure to work with and we love their rentals! Their showroom is filled with tons of beautiful up to date pieces that you can’t find elsewhere. From their linens to chairs to lighting to serving pieces to wedding décor, they have it all! Highly recommended!

What a disappointing experience for my wedding. Leading up the wedding I worked with one person who seemed great. I asked her to pick up on Wednesday and she told me that wasn’t possible but Thursday was. The week before the wedding I confirmed the count of chargers and that I would like to pick up Thursday morning. I received an updated invoice which I took to indicate a confirmation of all things listed in my email. Unfortunately, when my dad arrived (after an hour drive from the city) to pick up Thursday they were not ready and wouldn’t be until the end of the day or the next day. In order to have them at my wedding he had to make a second trip Friday morning. To make it worse Pleasanton made NO offer of a discount or to help with delivery. They weren’t even willing to acknowledge the clear error on their part. Absolutely nothing. That is very poor customer service if you ask me. I would think twice before working with someone with such bad service and communication.

This place is a gem! I love having a rental place close by that I know will be reliable and worth the quality. I called two weeks before my party and from the receptionist down to the guys that loaded up my truck, they were all super helpful. I called in a small order, 4 long tables and 32 chairs, and 2 round tables. It was for my backyard party so I didn’t need too much. The great thing is that no order is too small. A lot of places have a min. order that is just not practical. When I called, I asked if my truck would be able to hold all of these tables and chairs and the girl took the time to ask the guys that loaded their trucks if they think the dimensions would work. They said yes, so I saved on delivery. When I got there to pick up the order, it was an easy 5 min process of looking me up in the system, taking the slip to the guys and they loaded everything. This I appreciated because I was 30 weeks pregnant at the time!
One of the wonderful thing is that they will let you keep things over the weekend and only charge you the price for a one day rental. I picked up Friday afternoon, had my party Saturday and returned on Monday. As long as you get it to them before they close, that’s all they ask. I only rented the tables and chairs, but from their showroom they have a vast selection of linens, plates, utensils and some décor. I know whenever we have a big party, this is my go to place for rentals.

Pleasanton Rentals provided my table linens, runners and hemstitch napkins for such an affordable price. Initially, I was looking into La Tavola for a basic soft gray, and believe it or not, they did not have one that I liked. Thanks to Unilocal,I found exactly what I was looking for here! Lacey was in constant contact with me and made the transaction effortless. They have many beautiful rentals, from chairs to farm tables. They had such a wide selection to chose from. Be sure to check this place out especially if you are having your wedding in the Livermore wine country. Highly recommended!

The service is great and they perform exactly like we want them to by dropping off and picking up the rentals on time. We only use this company for our events. The owner gives us a small discount for being a charity.

Over the years, I’ve only used Pleasanton Rentals for our holiday gatherings or parties. We have yet to experience any issues with their service, prices, or products. They are always professional, timely, and courteous with great prices and the items I need or want always in stock and in great condition. One less thing to worry about when hosting a birthday party, Christmas, or Thanksgiving for 30+ people. Yay!

We got a last minute rental of an 108″ round turquoise cloth for the sweetheart table from here. Becky was very helpful and the rental itself only cost $ 15 total. We found them since they were highly recommended by our coordinators. Our coordinator picked up and dropped of the rental for us no problem. A very smooth transaction especially since it was a frantic last minute rental.

If it was an option, I would not even give Pleasanton Rentals 1 star.
This company caused me so much stress… on the actual DAY OF my wedding.
Prior to the wedding, I requested a quote for various different items I was considering using — chairs, tables, and outdoor lights. After receiving the quote and realizing my family had some of the items already, I wrote back that I only needed the chairs, and I gave the quantity. Great! I gave them my card information and arranged for my uncle to pick the chairs up.
Day of the wedding, as I’m getting my hair done, I find out that Pleasanton Rentals had sent my uncle with EVERYTHING I ever asked for a quote for, AND they charged me for it all! I had to call them myself, and they said the only way they would refund me was if I was able to get them everything back by 5pm. I was LIVID that they would dare to ask a bride, on her wedding day, to bring back everything herself. My wedding started a 5pm. Every single person I know will be there, so who did they expect to haul everything back?
They tried to make it my fault since my uncle picked everything up and signed for it, instead of me. I’m sorry, but when does the bride EVER come and pick up rentals herself on the day of her wedding???
To top it off, we used one credit card for all of our wedding expenses, and their charges on that card made it so we could pay the DJ. Instead of enjoying getting my wedding gown on, I had to stress about asking my mom to borrow money. because of the mistake Pleasanton Rentals made.
After we got back from our honeymoon, and after a lot of angry discussions, we finally did get reimbursed. But I absolutely could NOT believe what they put me through on my wedding day, and that they had no consideration for the stress they were causing a bride.
I would rather have a party with not enough chairs than ever rent from Pleasanton Rentals again.

I’ve used Pleasanton rental for several events, including weddings and corporate parties. They are very reliable and have beautiful design options. I’ve had a couple of snafoos, though. A set of table linens didn’t work out when one cloth had a hole in it (I guess for a picnic umbrella table), and they didn’t have that color to replace it. So I had to change the entire color setup of that group of tables. But they were very accommodating and apologized profusely for the mixup. In the end it was no biggie. Also, a string of lights came with some bulbs that didn’t work. We paid $ 100 for a string of lights, so I thought they should take the time to test them all and make sure they’re ready to go. But they were able to replace the bulbs that day, although, I had to drive over there myself to make the switch.
I guess there are a couple things they can improve on, but overall this is a reliable and professional rental service. I will continue to use them and recommend them to anyone else.

I love visiting their showroom and exploring the different tablescape possibilities for my events; it’s beautiful and they have a wonderful selection and great service!
Most recently I rented the most exquisite mirrored chargers, candelabras, and umbrellas from Pleasanton Rentals for my wedding and couldn’t have been happier with how much they added to the ambiance at our wedding.

I work for a party rental company similar to Pleasanton Rentals in Sacramento and when planning my sisters graduation party in June, I realized I needed more tables. I called Pleasanton Rentals the day of the party and they were very quick and had what I needed. I went to pick up the tables shortly after. They have a very large showroom but it is not organized. Seems like they use it for storage as well. The girls at the front desk were not too friednly, seems like they were very busy (it was graduation weekend– no stars deducted for that).
The warehouse staff that helped me pick up the items was a bonehead. My order called for –4– 48″ round tables… and a galvanized tub. He slowly rolls over a table. It is CLEARLY a 60″ round table NOT a 48″ table. I said… «this is a 60» round”. He didn’t say anything just turned around, walked away and comes back with a 48″ table, hands it to us and said ok, bye. Ummmm… wheres our other stuff? Without saying a word he went and got the rest of our order. But really? No sorry or anything? Star deducted…

I’ve used Plesanton Rentals for multiple events and they are professional, courteous and responsive. Their sales consultants are usually very friendly along with the staff in the warehouse.
They have a large selection to execute any vision you might have for an event. I plan on using them again!
