Established in 2013.

Started in 2013, J. Kauffman Photography prides itself on creating spectacular pictures that are of a high quality but at an affordable price. Joe and his family used to look for a great photographer that wouldn’t break our budget, but that was nearly impossible. Joe took the skills he had obtained from his father who was a landscape and wildlife photographer, and started J. Kauffman Photography. This way, when families and couples need a photographer they can not only count on, but afford, J. Kauffman Photography is there!

Joe Kauffman has a passion for creating that perfect photo that will stick in your mind forever. Being a native of the beautiful state of Colorado, he quickly learned to appreciate the essence of life through the lens of a camera.

His father, a wildlife and landscape photographer, passed on to his son, his ability to capture with a camera what many minds can’t see.

After nine years in the United States Coast Guard and having the opportunity to to work in some of the most beautiful places in the U.S., such as Washington, DC, Joe landed in the Bay Area and has loved it ever since!

With a natural love for simplistic pictures, he has made it his mission to capture specific moments that people can charish years down the road. His style has a modern and sleek photojournalistic approach that stands alone from others in his field.
